Chapter 63: New Years Eve

F/n walked inside the agency with Kunikida.

"We have thought of a great idea!" F/n exclaimed.

"You're idea, not mine." Kunikida said while pushing his glasses up.

"What is it, F/n?" I asked.

"New Years Eve party!" She says.

I look at the date on my computer.

December 31st.

"I don't see why not." Atsushi said.

"I'll buy the drinks." Akiko said.

"Will Mr. Fukuzawa approve of this?" I asked.

"I already asked. He said yes."

"Well, if we get our work done. We can get the party ready." Kunikida sighed.

~Time Skip~
I was typing as fast as I could on my computer.

"Wow, Y/n." I hear Akiko say, "Those fingers are faster than Ranpo whenever he sees a bag of candy."

"I need to get this work done." I say while staying focused on my computer, "I'm going to a few stores for the snacks."

"Oh, you are?" She asked.

"Yup." I say while not losing focus. "Any requests?"

"Hmm..... Would you mind getting a few cupcakes?"

"Sure." I say and continue typing.

"Done." I say and stand up from my desk.

"Where on earth are you going?" Kunikida asked.

I already closed the door.

~Atsushi's Pov:~
After Y/n left, everyone was focused on their work.

I noticed Dazai staring at his desk. He looked a little depressed.

He's been like this for almost 3 days... Is he okay?

I look over at B/n.

He was also noticing Dazai's weird behavior.

I looked at him, then back at Dazai.

B/n shrugged his shoulders.

I sighed and looked at my computer.

I walked back into the agency with grocery bags in my hands.

Everyone had already set the party up.

"Wow, Y/n!" Junichiro said. "How much things did you buy?"

"You should see how much drinks Akiko bought." I said.

Akiko walked inside with bags full of alcohol.

"This will be one interesting night..." Atsushi sighs.

~Time Skip~
Everyone was talking to each other while eating food and drinking.

I sipped my coffee, while I was talking to Kyouka. We were both sitting on the couch.

"Why do people drink coffee?" She asked me.

"To help keep them awake. Other people also drink it for the taste." I explain.

"Atsushi says I shouldn't be drinking coffee. He said it could be bad for you."

I look around and don't see Atsushi.

I slowly moved the coffee cup towards her.

"What he won't know won't hurt him..?" I look at her.

She grabs a straw from the table beside her and placed it in my cup of coffee.
