STEVIE COLE WAS going to france, her grandmother called telling her to come visit.

she said okay.

her hands packed her clothes into the suitcase as she hears the laughing of her friends out on patio.

stevie smirked for a spilt second, she loved hearing their giggles.

"let's see." her eyes scanning the suitcase.

"right!" stevie screams snapping her fingers suddenly remembering her water gun.

running to the patio door she opens it slightly and stopping hearing chris and owen chat.

she smiles softly from her hiding spot.

"i just think she ruins everyone's lives." chris mutters to the blonde.

the girl furrows her brows who was he talking about.

apparently owen was just as confused.

"who?" the boy asks.

"stevie!" chris yells in an obvious tone.

"no way." he slaps his mouth.

stephanie cole holds her heart for a second.

"i think she's a bitch, and she makes everything about herself." the boy continues.

stevie smashed her hand over her mouth running to her room holding her stomach.

"oh god." she whispers.

"oh god, oh god." the girl starts closing her suitcase and walking out her room tears falling from her face.

"hey stevo." chris walks up to her like he wasn't just shit talking.

she doesn't answer.

"stev, you going now?" he asks walking after her.

"stevie?" but she didn't answer.

"stevie?!" chris grabs her shoulders making her spin around.

"don't touch me." she grits.

his face scrunched.

"hey, hey, you good?" the boy kneels down looking at her.

"i'm fine, don't wanna make everything about me." stevie spits in his face.

"make everything abou- stevie what're you talking about?" he furrows his brows so confused.

"nothing, i'm a bitch arent i?" she grits.

realization hits his face.

"you heard that?"

she scoffed.

"of course i heard that." and then she opens the front door.

"stevie! i swear oh my god, i swear it's not what you think." he grabs her.

"it's never what i think isn't it?" she screams.

"chris, i fucking cant! i cant!" her hands pull on her hair.

"maybe in another universe this could work, we sit across each other at the kitchen table and go over the fucking grocery list." she sobs seeing tears in his eye.

"but not this universe." stevie pushed his shoulder.

"and i hate you, i fucking hate you." she screams right in his face.

the boy just looks down trying to find the right time to explain anything.

"no you don't." he mumbles.
