JJ and Kiaras paths have never really crossed before. Sure they were somewhat aware of the others existence , but have never spoke a word to each other before. It was more of the odd look here and there. The only thing they knew about each other is that they weren't on the same side.
Who would of thought they could be the piece the other didn't even realise they were missing.
Although kooks and pogues were rivals, they did sometimes party together, well at the same place, neither group could resist a party especially when alcohol is present. Party's aren't usually kies thing so she barely ever goes but tonight Sarah had somehow convinced her to step out of her comfort zone.
" Kie don't worry it'll be fun, I'm sure you'll love it"
"I'm sure I won't but thanks anyway"
They stroll down the beach and they can hear the music and voices in the distance. Kie didn't really know what to wear but she had decided on distressed denim shorts framing her figure perfectly, a black crop top and her converse. She let her curls fall naturally and had a little bit of makeup on too. They finally reach the party and of course straight away Sarah runs over to some people.
It's kind of ironic that the girl that practically forced me to come with her, ditches me a second after arriving kie thought to herself. "Great" she mutters
She stood there for a minute uncomfortably looking around and observing what everyone else was doing. Her eyes landed on a blonde stood by a keg and handing out drinks. If theres anything that would help her get through this hell, it's alcohol.
She makes her way over to him nervously. " erm a beer please" she says trying not to make eye contact.
The blonde looks up and is instantly in awe of this girls beauty , she looked perfect.
" I haven't seen you here before, have I?" The blonde questions.
" no , no you won't have, it's not really my scene" kiara replies softly.
" I don't really know why I'm here to be honest" she adds.
" yeah me neither"
"Really?" She raises her eyebrows, not believing him for a second.
"No I'm joking, I was just trying to make you feel better" he smirks.
" so what's you name?" Kiara asks
"Oh so we're on a first name basis now are we"
"I was only ..."
"Only joking again , it's JJ"
"We'll nice to meet you, I'm Kiara"
He gives her a nod and opens his mouth to say something.
"4 beers!"
JJ turns to look at a group of boys now in front of him and starts getting the drinks. When he turns back around Kiaras gone. He looks around and finally spots her in the distance walking away.
Jake ( another pogue ) walks over and JJ hands him a beer.
" what were you doing talking to that kook?" He asks
"Kook?"
