Blurring the lines ~ Jiara

The next morning Kiara opened her eyes feeling content. Seeing JJ upset last night has definitely
confirmed some feelings for her. She's never really been interested in being in a relationship before as she's scared of rejection and heartbreak. Sure she's had crushes on boys before and boys have liked her but she's just never wanted anything serious. But she can feel her mind slowly changing and that's because of JJ. She feels such a strong attraction and naturally gravitates towards him.

All of a sudden she notices he's gone, JJ's left. Why would he leave? Does he not feel the same way?

" shit" she mumbles as she gets out of bed.

JJ had had a rough night, he'd found his dad at his house in a drunken state ranting on about how JJ somehow owed him money. They'd got in a fight until JJ just gave up, he grabbed some notes out his back pocket and just thrown them on the floor.

" just take it, take it all dad" he shouts

" you always do" he whispers sadly to himself as he walks quickly out the front door.

Somehow he'd ended up outside Kiaras house, but it felt right. When morning came and JJ woke up he saw her sleeping so peacefully , it made him smile. But then he started to feel immense guilt, he doesn't want to dump all his problems on her. So he left quietly trying not to wake her. He'd felt vulnerable with her last night, which he wasn't used to and he wasn't sure he wanted to get used to it.

JJ just felt very confused at his emotions, which meant there was only one thing for it: a surf.

After a surf session to clear his head, JJ headed back to John B's to change.

"And where have you been you dirty stopout" John B chuckled as JJ walked in the door. Pope and Sarah joined in all sat on the couch.

" erm nowhere , just for a surf"

" whatever you say" John B teases.

" anyway you need to get ready, there's a party!" Sarah said excited.

"Great!" JJ replies sarcastically.

They all strolled into the party at the boneyard, there was a fire, weed and lots of booze, all the makings of a top Pogue party. To JJ's surprise he spotted Kiara sat down in the distance talking to a boy. What was she doing here, I thought she didn't like parties?

JJ shook his head and went to get a drink.

About an hour later Kiara , who'd just spotted him made her way over to JJ.

"Can I sit here? Or are you going to disappear again?" She says lightheartedly.

JJ turns to look at her .
" look about that..."

" I'm kidding, I'm kidding" she laughs.

"We'll it looks like you weren't short of company" JJ replies bluntly looking at the boy in the distance.

Kiara pulls a confused face at him, when he notices he tries to change the subject.

" anyway what brings you here?" He asks

" am I not allowed?" She jokes

" it just I thought this wasn't your scene"

" we'll I'm trying to try new things" she says as she looks into his eyes.
