Blurring the lines ~ Jiara

"Kiara what are you waiting for, we need to go in!" Anna says getting annoyed as Kiara hovers around the car, she was waiting for someone. But her parents don't know that.

Suddenly he appears, getting of his motorcycle. He looked incredible. The smartest she'd ever seen him, and boy did he scrub up well. He was wearing a grey button down shirt, with a black tie and his hair was gelled slightly. She feels the butterflies growing in her stomach as her makes his way over.

"What's he doing here?" Mike says finally noticing him.

"Nice to see you too Mr Carrera"

"Dad. I invited him"

"Why?" Anna interrupts confused.

"Because he's... he's my .....well..."

"Because I'm her boyfriend" he says confidently smiling softly as he takes Kiaras hand in his own.

Hearing him call himself her boyfriend, and in front of her parents felt absolutely incredible. She just only hoped he meant it.

Anna and Mike looked equally surprised and confused.

"We don't have time for this, let's go in" Anna says, shooting JJ a disapproving glare. But he wasn't phased, not one bit.

Kiara and JJ follow them in, still hand in hand.

"You ok?" He whispered

"Yeah. Are you?" She smiles

He nods .

There's quite a lot of stares and whispering as they walked in. Everyone's eyes were on them.

JJ's confidence fades slightly and Kiara can see the nerves starting to take over. His breathing quickening. Because in truth he felt very out of place here.

"I'm here" she says reassuringly squeezing his hand.

And that's all he needed.

*1 hour into the party.

JJ was surprised that he wasn't actually having a bad time. As long as he was with Kiara, he enjoyed himself. He was just so comfortable around her.

"You want another drink?" JJ asks

"Yeah" she smiles

He gets up and heads over to the bar. Looking back at her and smiling, she looked so beautiful, how an earth did he get so lucky.

The bartender takes his attention away from her by asking what drinks her wants.

"May a have a dance" a hand appears in front of Kiara. She looks up and ..... Tyler. Great.

"Erm hey, what... what are you doing here?" She says in surprise.

"Your mum invited me" he says proudly.

"Did she?" Kiara smiles sarcastically.

"So? A dance?"

"Well.....actually I'm just waiting for someone..."

"Here you go" JJ emerges handing her her drink and looking Tyler up and down.

"Thank you" she smiles in relive and kisses him on the cheek, causing Tyler to raise an eyebrow.

"JJ" he remarks

"Tyler" JJ says back

"You two know each other?" Kie asks

Tyler and JJ still aren't breaking the eye contact, staring each other out.

"Well I guess you could say that" Tyler says

JJ narrows his eyes.

"What'd you mean?" She asks confused

"It doesn't matter" JJ mutters

"How's your dad?" Tyler smirks

JJ's clenches his fists at the comment.

"JJ" she redirects his attention "JJ what is it?"

"I want to leave"
