My New Neighbour is LEE FELIX!

Chapter - 18

Alina, the new intern. She showed up on our trip. At first I thought she was appointed for a good reason but it became clearer in 2 days why was here. Lets get on with the details.

The first day she said hi, didn't really care who we were though. She greeted us as if she had never met us. But then she showed up when I was in my room alone.

Aline - sunbaenim hello. 

She bowed.

Felix - oh hello. Can I help you with something?

Alina - I cant find a way to my room. The resort is a bit confusing. 

Huh? confusing there was just one hallway and the rooms are numbered. I went with her to her room and she thanked me and invited me.

Alina - You should come inside.

It was very strange so I declined.

Alina - aww! I would love to know you better you know.

I didn't want to be rude so I laughed it off and told her I am off to meet the guys. 

Alina - lemme go with you.

Felix - sure.

She kept talking about us and how she got the job and how we were nice and all.

We searched and found everyone crowded in Changbin's room. Everybody was teasing Jane as tiny jane she is smallest among us.

Everybody was skeptical of Alina and her ways including me. As soon as we reached the room she started laughing and talking and pushing me playfully. I smiled awkwardly. I didn't have guts to look at Jane at that point I didn't know how she'd react. She even sat near me at that time.

Shortly after Jane excused herself. I sighed. We decided to go for spa and Chan told me to find Jane.

Chan - hey everyone lets go for SPA. Felix find Jane. 

Alina - oh I can help you with that Felix.

Felix - oh! aniyo aniyo Chan wants to come with me. You enjoy your stay.

I could tell she was irritated.

We split and started searching but couldn't find her anywhere. One hour passed, second hour was passing. Chan met me someway in the hall. I was very anxious. 

Chan - Are you okay? Its just Jane. She might have gone for a walk.

Felix - she isn't picking our calls either Chan where is she!?

Chan - I'll check the garden bushes you go check if she went out with the watch man.

I went to ask for her but he said he didn't see her. My anxiety was getting stronger. Why and where was she? Did someone hurt her? Did she go to spa alone? After sometime Chan called me saying she was behind the bushes on the swing. I seriously ran as fast as I could.

Felix - where were you? Me and chan ran all over the place to find you.

Jane - Its just been two hours Felix.

I hugged her tightly. I don't know why was I so anxious. I took off my scarf and wrapped around her neck to keep her warm. She looked at me warmly. It melted my heart. I love her. It is not any attraction or any small infatuation. It was love. I loved her. But I don't have the courage to tell her that.

I don't know her feelings for me.

Felix - ah yes. I - You weren't picking up the call so I thought you must up sleeping but your room was empty and you weren't in any of our rooms or cafe so...

Jane - thanks...I just lost track of time.

Felix - I guess so! Everybody else was helping too but I told them I'll take care of it.

Felix - Lets get dinner and do you want to go out for icecream?

Jane - yeah! I'll text others.

I nodded. Others? I wanna go alone! And plus she was leaving in two days huh!

Felix - can- can I-

Jane - whats up?

Felix - You will be leaving in two days.

Jane - yeah?

Felix - Can we make a pact that we will talk everyday or at least send a single text to each other everyday?

I am nervous. Thank god I didn't stutter. But instead of denying or laughing she hugged me. Her hands around my neck. 

Jane - okay deal.

I gave in. I didn't want any barriers or any walls or any secret between us now. I hugged her tighter and just didn't want to leave her. As we let go I smile at her lovingly. If my mouth couldn't say I love you my eyes sure did.

Felix - come on. Everyone would be waiting.

When we went for dinner after that. Jane had to freshen up so I spared a chair next to me for her. But before I could realize Alina sat with me. I couldn't say a word and the members were speechless as well. How to tell her no without making her suspicious. I could see Jane's face saddened with the placement. I decided to ignore that.

I text Han to make her feel okay and got up as soon as we ate dinner. Ice cream! Thats when I will sit with her and try to figure out her feelings for me.

BUT THAT COULDNT HAPPEN SHE WENT TO THE HOSPITAL!!!!! I sat down in dismay when Seungmin came to me

Seungmin - The hospital is an hour away. Run and ask her if you can go with her. Run! 

He whispered. i gave my cup to him and literally ran. I could hear alina asking where was I off too but Chan saying someone called.

I ran and asked her.

Felix - oh jane. Will you be okay going on so late? Do you need any of us to come with you? 

Any of us! What am I thinking?! 

She just hugged me, declined the offer and went away.....my face was so sad I couldn't smile that night. But the good thing was... The text messages.

That night.

Jane - they are going to operate tomorrow.

Felix - i didn't know you had a sibling.

Jane - no i don't. She is a cousin.

Felix - But! You paid and your parents came too!

Jane - Her parents died long ago so we just adopted her sort of. 

Felix - you guys are cute. When is the surgery?

Jane - soon I hope. She is not dilated much.

I smiled as she explained what she was doing. 

Jane - I gotta go. Have to see those hospital papers and all. see ya.

I slept peacefully.
