*JAIME*

Once we talked to the little elderly couple that was in the office, we were separated into our own private rooms to get ourselves ready.

I pulled out the necklace I always had in my wallet, dangling the delicate chain with a pure white gold and diamond speckled ring that my grandmother had given me about a week before she passed.

She told me that if I were to give it to anyone other than my one true love she would send down strikes of lightening to attack me from heaven. I smiled and chuckled a little at the memory, holding the Simple contoured band between my fingers as it sparkled in the rooms track-lights.

I smiled as I took it off the chain, examining it again, smiling to myself as I thought about my person in the next room...

"Want me to clean that for you, dear?" the older lady, which I learned her name was Ellen, asked as she peeked in, belt waking me from my train of thought.

I smiled and nodded "please?" I asked as I handed over the ring carefully.

She nodded and smiled as she took the ring from my palm, "She's a very lucky lady to have a man like you dear," Ellen said as she disappeared though the door once more.

no... I am the lucky one.

The feeling I have right now that perfectly sums up our relationship is the effect of the old saying, "if you love it, let it go. If your love comes back to you, then it's yours forever.'

I'm marrying the love of my life. The one person who loves me for me, i'm marrying my best friend, my rock, the one person I know I can turn to for anything.

No matter how ridiculous and absurd I can be, she's The one person who gets my sense of humor and the one person who can shoot sly remarks back to me within a single second and Laughs about everything.

A smile never leaves her face and can hold the most serious of serious conversations when she has to... Shes the love of my life. Shes my one and only.

My always and forever.

My anytime and always.

Ellen came back in a few minutes later with the ring polished and in a little black ring box all ready to go. She smiled up at me and fixed my spiky hair for me, "you remind me so much of my grandson." She smiled softly, retreating her hands back to twine together in front of her lap and smiled, "how did you two meet?" she asked sweetly, fixing the knot in my red tie.

I decided to tell her the whole story of Jaime and Laney, from the never ending dreams - warped tour - to the airport horror story - the year with out her to finding her again, and all the way now up to this moment.

Ellen was crying at the end of it, "Seems like Fate to me." she nodded, wiping her eyes with a tiny tissue, "you can go out and wait on the alter for her if you would like."

I nodded and smiled "Thank you Ms Ellen." I said politely as I followed her out to the outdoor setting, a few chairs were set up, with blue rose petals lining the aisle way, white drapes hung from row to row. Stringed lighted were hung across the cabana thing, wrapped in tools so they had a slight glow. The wind was even blowing ever so slightly so some to the petals jumped from their places on the aisle way. I smiled at the sight, it really was beautiful.

I heard the song I sang the day I proposed on stage play through the speakers... Snapping my head up in confusion. Laney made me record it for her when we got home, and of course I said yes. Hearing that song made me grin so wide.

And with this love song to you,

It's not a momentary phase,

You are my life I don't deserve you,
