98. "Airplanes are Sexy."

*JAIME*

"Due to Mrs. Preciado's lack of oxygen to her body, the baby was put into distress.. causing her to faint and not respond to any stimulation..." she babbled on.

"Well, Are they okay?" Austin hurriedly asked, cutting off the doctor mid-sentence while I stayed quiet, realizing my worst fears were more than likely coming true.

Alan put a hand on my shoulder like it was going to comfort me. I sighed and looked at the ground, nothing could comfort me. Outside I was calm, inside my mind was racing and I felt my heart starting to skip beats and suffocate me.

"... Yes, Mr. Carlile... Mom And baby are fine.. nothing major happened to the extent that we could not get her revived.... thankfully. She did have trauma and breakage from a hit to her shoulder blade, cracking it into 3 pieces, so we went in surgery and fixed it with metal connectors that should help fix it in a quicker manner than normal. We were  also able to stabilize mom and baby fairly quickly after the surgery despite everything else. The last few hours have been just for their relaxation and observation..." the nurse smiled softly, ushering us back into the maternity unit, stopping in front of a room with 'Preciado' scribbled on the white board in messy doctor's handwriting.

"you go in first, Hime." Austin pushed me forward but I was already flying though that door to be met by her beautiful face.

Her hand had an IV sticking out of it and a few monitors on her stomach which she was poking at while making airplane sounds with her mouth. She obviously didn't see me slide my way into the room, i just stood there and watched with a giant goofy smile on my face.

"airplanes are sexy." I laughed at her antics as I slid away the hospital blue curtain, her head whipped around and stared at the door way.

"Lovey!" she squealed, sitting up as much as she could holding her arms (well... The one that wasn't busied and in a sling) out towards me. I took no time in rushing over to hold her tight in my arms and kissed her deeply.

I heard her heart monitor speed up faster and faster as I kissed her. She laughed against my lips, sending happy vibrations though my body.

"now I can see the effect I have on ya." I winked teasingly, Getting an instant smack back to the chest.

"shut it Preciado."

"my pleasure, Preciado." I Retorted back, kissing her softly once again.

"wait..why are you here.. what about your tour?" she asked as I sat on the edge of her bed, never letting go of her hand.

"as soon as Alan called me I was on the first flight back here. You are more important to me than any tour.." I smiled, kissing her a few small times while she grabbed my face to hold me there for a few moments more before attacking my face with kisses, making me chuckle.

*LANEY*

"Are You guys done being all gushy gushy?" Austin and Alan stood in the door way shielding their eyes.

I Laughed "Fluffy!"

Alan rushed over and hugged me tight, Shooing Jaime away from the bed

"Ow ow ow, Shoulder..." I whined.

Alan went pale "oh shit, sorry. Sorry sorry."

"no Worries Fluff." I grinned, motioning him to come back for another hug.

"next time ill just meet you at the Starbucks.." he said kissing my cheek.

"deal. Maybe you should teach me how to throw your ninja stars too while you are at it, you bad ass." I smiled laughing, then hugged Austin.

"Thank you Austy." I smiled, burning my head into the crook of his shoulder.

"anything for you Wifey.." he whispered as I squeezed him tight.

"GHAD." I yelped , pulling away from Austin as the baby kicked once again in my ribs.

Jaime shot up."you okay, you need a doctor? Or some ice, or that weird thing you wrap around your belly? Or how about..." he shot random nonsensical questions at me, Most of which pertained to food...

Mmmm.... food...

I Laughed and shook my head. He had never felt the baby kick before since he was constantly on tour the past few months we have known about this little tiny human thing, and right now the little thing was going crazy. I reached over for his hand and set it on my belly..and sure enough, rapid fire kicks happened almost instantly.

I Saw Jaime's face brighten and his eyes grow wide. He looked up at me as the dimply grin I fell in love with grew ten times bigger. I grinned and kissed him happily.

"I WANNA FEEL" Alan and Austin whined. I nodded, taking their hands and put them on a spot and sure enough the kicking came. The boys squealed with delight, kissing my cheeks once again then headed out to grab the rest of the boys.

"You're Coming back on tour with me." Jaime blurted bluntly.

I sighed and shook my head. "i'll be fine baby.." I nodded reassuringly "ill stay at Alan's"

Alan nodded, "The spare room is all yours whenever you want it Lane."

he shook his head and took my hands in his as he sat indian style on the foot of the hospital bed.

"You.Come. Tour. Now. Yes. No. Not. Answer."

I Sighed and shook my head again "i'm sure Tone, Vic, and Mike wouldn't want a hormonal cranky bitch on the bus with them," 

He let out a laugh and an eye roll to complete the 'oh whatever' look he was trying to give me, "considering what Caity was like... I Highly doubt they would have any problem with you. You are a butterfly compared to Caity.. and You are not a bitch or crazy, although you do drive me crazy with the pickles and vanilla ice cream cravings." he smiled kissing my hands.

"Caity would throw things at our heads if no one was listening to her to get her a glass of water. Or rub her ankles for her" he admitted.

I Laughed as he told me other stories of what Caity was like as a pregnant lady. "No way."

"WAY! Oh my god she threw a dora coloring book at me and I almost died from my paper cut I got," Jaime said with arm dramatics.

"You poor poor baby." I cooed, pinching his cheek. He laughed and smacked my hand away.

"So Tour.. yes?"

"fine.."I smiled,

"say yes."

"Kay.."

"Yes God dammit."

"Si."

"Alright Smart-ass." he laughed kissing me happily for a few minutes. Making My heart monitor speed up again.

"But the bus better be stocked full of Vanilla Ice-cream and Pickles."
