52. "As You Wish"

I sat in Bring Me's bus with Nicholls, Phil, and Alan watching some re-runs of Adventure Time and drinking coffee while everyone else was outside making snow angels and snowmen in the 3 feet of snow that decided it wanted to fall over night.

Tally and Laney were on a Skype call with AP headquarters back in Los Angeles, and from what I overheard from my spot on the couch, the Stockholm date was cancelled altogether. We hated canceling shows but with all this new snow fall it would take us longer to get to the venue (not to mention our slightly out-of-commission Bass Player). We would have to push back the remaining dates we had if we continued with Stockholm, which were Copenhagen and London. But Copenhagen was in 2 days, then London was another 2 days away after that so I guess we kept those as is.

I broke my gaze from the TV as Tally and Laney came back from the back room, grabbing waters and collapsed on the couch on either side of me.

"So when do we head off?" I asked, looking at all the guys playing with the snow though the window who were throwing snowballs at each other's faces and at the windows. "once we get the hooligans to come back inside." Tally nodded, turning on Oli's N64 to play some Mario game.

I nodded and looked over to Laney, she hasn't said a word to anyone except Jordan and Tally since last night.

Right now, I just wish she would talk to me...

she was hugging her knees to her chest to the point where her knuckles were turning white, peeking over to look at the TV Tally was playing on. I knew what was going through her mind, she didn't know how to deal with this. She got this way when we were on warped tour when she had that problem with Nicka. I could tell this could either end up with more heartbreak, or the two fuckers could just come together as one and all would be alright.

We had talked a few times since the initial dinner date-thing Jaime and her had back somewhere in Germany, or wherever we were. She had her reservations and her fears about how the Kyla-saurus would come stomping in spreading more venom though the world if anything were to come about them again. I could tell that both of them wanted something or other from this, but none knew how to act on it.

Honestly, Kyla hasn't been seen or heard of since Asking Alexandria came to San Diego a few weeks after Laney left, so for all we know Danny most likely got though to her and is now happily together. But I wouldn't press my luck on that one.

I sighed and looked over to Laney who was now hiding her face completely, taking deep shaky breaths that made her whole body shake. "oh come here." I said quietly, wrapping my arms around her and pulled her to my chest, sliding one of my arms under her knees to pick her up and carried her into the back room, shutting the door behind me. I rubbed soft circles on her back as I let her soak my shirt as she needed and I kept her close. "i'm doing it again aren't I?" she muffled out when she calmed down a bit.

"Doing what again?" I asked confused, pushing her newly-brunette hair out of her face. "Laney look at me." I said as she did, her eyes pained and dilated, super red from all this crying.

"What I did when I first met you guys.. i'm doing it again. Screwing up." I sighed and pulled her against me again, her forehead resting on my shoulder, "i'm a terrible person."

"No.. you just have reservations, and that is completely normal.. Jaime is just torn because he loves you so much, never has stopped since the day he first dreamt about you." I said truthfully.

Jaime was still sleeping from whatever happened last night. I had to clean up the bathroom and it was absolutely terrifying to see the things my best friend hurt himself with. We still don't know what fully was going through his mind when he did that... all I know is that I never want it to happen again.

"I don't know why he got as pissed as he did, but one things for sure it was because he can't bear to see you with another guy. Seeing you with Jordan, or even Phil, is hell enough for him. Hearing that you made out with Austin wasn't helping his mental state at all." I rested my chin on the top of her head and sighed, staying in the silence we created.

"i figured out how that photo got leaked by the way." she said quietly after a few minutes of listening to the silence and snowballs hitting the side of the bus.

"how?"

"The Camera to Austin's laptop was still on.. someone must have hacked it from the outside world and got it off of there." she sighed and started crying again into my chest. Staying quiet for a moment, her mumbling she was doing vibrating though my chest. "i love him god dammit." Laney whimpered, hiding her face in her hands as she sat up by herself. I stayed right where I was, slightly shocked by her words, but then again... I felt it coming.

"oh and can you tell Vic, per-request, We got you guys off the Copenhagen date.. " she nodded, standing up and pulled out her key-set from her bunk, undoing a tiny golden Key, writing something on a sticky note and wrapped the key in it. "Key to my flat in London with address. " she nodded

"Why?" I asked, taking the key and looked at her curiously.

She shrugged "we will all be there in 3 days, so you guys can have a cool off period.. especially for Ha-Hime.." she stuttered, looking down at her feet then back up at me.

"we can just get a Ho-" "No.. I feel bad enough.. stay at my house, no arguing. It's big enough for all of you, and free food." she interjected me almost emotionless, but lightened up when she mentioned food. She turned and headed out to the front lounge with me following close behind as she walked outside with Tally as he called every one in.

I walked out behind them and hugged her closely for a moment, kissing her forehead, "as you wish"

"Thanks Tone-Bone... for everything" she smiled softly, disappearing back onto the Bring Me bus in front of a snow-drenched Oli and Vegan as i headed back to my own bus, giving the address to the driver and waved out the window to her as we split off from the group to head to London.
