Falling Into Place (Jaime Preciado) (*PTV* Fanfic 1)

8. "ill see you tonight right?"

*LANEY*

i got back to the bus and climbed the stairs, seeing my borther and chris on the couch playing with some stuffed monkey one of the fans must have given them. i threw Dane's phone at him. "you left this on the Drum Riser, when Jaime and i were cleaning up after you guys." i smiled. 

"Jaime? whos Jaime?" Dane asked "i thought Kyle was with you..." 

i shook my head "long story. but no. his name is Jaime... Jaime Preciado." 

They looked at me with wide eyes "Jaime. Jaime Preciado from Pierce The Veil?!" Chris asked

i nodded "whats so exciting?" 

"I KNEW HE LOOKED FAMILIAR!." Chris yelled and took the monkey away from Dane and moved away.  i just shook my head giggling to myself "and all of them are coming tonight. to the party thingy that you guys are throwing. "

Chris went into a spazztic cleaning mode. "you know you dont have to do that. considering this place last time you threw a party it was trashed within 4 seconds of cracking open the first bottle of Jack. " i pointed out.

"hush your mouth Barbie... if we are having Warped Tour Royalty on our bus i need it to look somewhat presentable." Chris nodded, starting to  even re-arrange some of the photos on the walls. i shook my head and looked at Dane, "where are the other three lunatics?" i asked "ones in the back, and the others are either in Catering or watching someone." he nodded, not looking up from his phone. "come on, lets go watch Pierce The Veil's Set." i said puling him up to his feet with all of my stregth... just imagine a 5'7'' girl with no strength whatso ever pulling up a 6'5'' giant. yeah. no idea whee the Gene pool went awry there. 

"CHRIS! PTV is on in 5.. you coming or do you still want to be Snow White?" Dane called, as Chris came running from the back "ready, my little animal friends. " he nodded

He was so strange.  we locked the bus and headed to the stage.

*JAIME*

i looked over at the side stage and i saw Laney and her brother Dane and another guy, i think his name was Chris, standing over where Caity was. In between songs i smiled over and waved. then i looked out at the Main-Stage crowd and smiled like an idiot. i loved my job. its where i always wanted to be. and always where i will be.

i threw my bass at Tony, who slid it into the road case on his side of the stage, flipping my once-spikey hair so it resembled more of a strange skater cut... one thing was for sure: i needed a hair cut. i walked across the stage and smiled brightly. "hey, im glad you came." i beamed at Laney, who returned the smile, i turned to Caity and wrapped my sweatyself around her like a Koala, 

"JAIME! you asshat..." she laughed and pushed me off of her "now i smell like sweaty sexican!" i laughed "well hay, its your favorite cologne now-a-days? eh?" i winked wispering it in her ear, thinking back to her an Vic on the bus... i needed to know what was going on between them. but i know if they were together, Tony would probably kill Vic for going after his sister. 

She looked at me after the comment i made and smiled soflty, blushing? yep. her little perry face was turning pink. i laughed and watched her walk over to Vic, hugging him and walked off to the bus together.

i turned back to Laney, Dane, and Chris. "so youre throwing a party tonight right?" i asked smilinglooking at Dane and Chris

"yeahwhatkindofliquorwouldyoulikeustobringohandtheresgoigntobefoodiknowyoulikehotpocketssotheresgoingtobealotofthose. promise." Chris said all in one breath like he was bottling it up. i laughed. "7 whiskey, and Jack sounds prefect." i nodded "better bring the Tequila too." i nodded and looked at Laney, god i just wanted to sit a stare at her, even though it was so hard not to just kiss her right then and there, i refrained... i didnt want to ruin anything.. and God knows i ruin alot of things... and quick. I was about to say something before i was jumped on by Tony and Mike both at the same time. all three of us toppling to the ground in a pile, "i heard Jack and Tequila... should i bring a sombrero too?" Mike smiled brightly, then looked up at Laney "oh hello there beautiful." Mike said hurrying to his feet taking her hand and kissed it. well fuck. 

"hello Miss Lady." Tony smirked, taking her hand and kissing it. she stood there smiling brighter than i probably ever seen her, but most likely it was her smiling at Mike's comment and trying to hold back laughter she still had from 1. me falling to the ground getting crushed my 2 men (boys) and 2. Tony's weirdo little creeper accent.

i  pushed through them and was caught in her gaze.. those beautiful  eyes piercing my soul like they had plenty of times before. "ill see you tonight right?" Laney asked, looking up at me and smiling "absolutely." i nodded, and then we were summoned away from them by Caity, Vic and Kevin. 

i cant wait for tonight.
