[Scott's Pov]

"We will just check on the Behemoth. Puro told me he saw someone run past by when we were taking a nap. Stay here to take care of the Blue Apple trees with the Prototype, alright?" I gave Doctor K a nod, and he hopped across the window. Puro followed him behind, leaving me with the Prototype alone in the room. I turned to look at the Prototype, and it is facing at one of the Blue Apple trees, watering the tree with the watering can on it's right paw. It is so easy to read and understand the stored information of Scott.

I noticed a computer desktop on the corner of the garden. I approached the computer and sat on the office desk. I moved the mouse with my right paw, and the screen of the monitor went to life. The screen is showing a program, and it appears that the program is similar to a command prompt. The program name is listed on the top left corner of the window. The program is an OS Software External Drive upgrader. It sounds similar to a system update, or a tool to modify a software within a machine.

The first command line mentions about the first command to start the program. I inputted a code using the keyboard, and the next lines of command popped up. The lines mentioned something about the wireless connection of the desktop being functional and operational to connect to a machine. A machine? I turned to look at the Prototype. The Prototype is busy as usual on the Blue Apple trees. "Proto-! Ehm... Voice too deep."

I quickly adjusted the voice modulator to match Scott's voice. "Testing? There. Prototype! I need some help here with this program." The Prototype turned around and walked towards me, still holding the watering can. The Prototype stood in front of me. "What is it, Scott? That's the program that Doctor K uses to run a diagnostic test on me. You used it too on engineering and programming Prima." I turned to look at the monitor, and the command prompt beeps as it awaits for further instructions. "Do you know the command to connect to a machine?"

"Let me handle it for you. Who should it connect to?" The Prototype asked, and I can't help but smirk at the Prototype. "I need it to connect to you." The happy and cheerful face of the Prototype turns to a confused frown. "Why is that?" The Prototype asked as it types in the command regardless of the sudden change in the atmosphere. "So I can reprogram you." I quickly inserted the tip of my tail to the USB port, giving me full access to the computer despite not having to use the keyboard and mouse. In a matter of seconds, I punched in the command and the Prototype immediately shut off.

The Prototype stood beside me, petrified and unconscious in place. I carefully pulled out my tail from the USB port. Ouch. Why did I think of using my tail in the first place? I could have quickly inserted one of my claws in. I gently inserted one of claws into the USB port, and I typed in the command lines mostly used and necessarily needed in the program. I bet this is how the other programs in the Primagen planet work. Just a few simple command lines to modify the behavior, and set up a set goal for the machine to accomplish.

I should also give it the required commands to run in the time of the greatest plan. Let's also insert a bypass software to control the system just in case it finds one. Self aware option? No thanks.

[Prima's Pov]

We arrived at the Garden, and no one is inside the room. Scott's computer is still there, but the Protogen can't be seen in the room. Doctor K hopped over the window and approaches the computer. The monitor of the computer is showing light, and it seems the desktop is on. "What do you see?" I asked and Doctor K looked at me. "Someone used the software modification program. I doubt it's the Prototype, because I programmed it just to water plants. It could be Scott."

All of a sudden, Doctor K has his head close to the CPU cabinet. He appears to be sniffing a smell. Doctor K then grabs the gas mask and puts it over his snout without strapping it behind his head. "I have the scent of Scott stuck on my nose now. Let's go before it dissipates." Doctor K pressed the power button of the CPU cabinet with his right paw, and the computer closed. He hopped across the window, and then we heard a noise coming from the other end of the corridor.

"I sense danger. Wait, where is Human?" Doctor K and I looked at the black wolf who just asked. "One of us should look for Colin. Puro? Can you look for Colin?" Doctor K asked, and the black wolf gave him a nod. Puro quickly ran to one of the opened doors, leaving us alone in the hallway. Doctor K began to walk and I followed him behind. The brave white wolf in the lab coat took the lead, and I followed him closely. I noticed a door standing at the end of the corridor.

The door slid open halfway, but it closed itself as we approach it. We stood by the door as it tries to open itself once again, but fails to do so and closes once more. The door appeared to be broken. "Can you push this door all the way through for me?" Doctor K asked and I gave him a nod. The door attempted to open itself, and I helped the door by pushing it. The door eventually opened itself fully, succeeding to open itself. Behind the door appears to be a dimly lit hallway. The lights on the ceiling admitting a weak light to illuminate the hallway.

"I'll stay here to guard the door while you check on what's inside. Just call me if you need me." Doctor K gave me a nod and stepped through the door, entering the dimly lit hallway.
