Chapter 28: Red Latex War Cry

[Puro's Pov]

Where is that Human? It has been hours and he still hasn't arrived to us yet. I pressed a button next to a door with my right paw, and the door in front of me slid open. Behind the door is a hallway filled with the white and red latex. Both of the latex have painted the hallway in red and white. I see a door standing at the end of the corridor. I stepped inside the hallway, and I noticed the increased viscosity of the mixture of the red and white latex covering the flooring of the hallway.

I walked forward, each step finding it more and more difficult to pull my foot paw from the viscous latex floor. I eventually reached the other side, and I gently pressed the button next to the door with my right paw. The door unfortunately remained locked, as if it didn't respond to the button. I pressed the button again, but to no avail. The door is jammed shut. Maybe there's another way to open the door. I need something to pry a gap on the door so I can brute force it to open.

I noticed a random shovel standing against the wall to which I never noticed before when I was walking towards the door. I held on the body of the shovel and I slowly pulled the shovel off the sticky red latex goo. I sticker the shovel head in between the door and the frame, and I pushed on the handle. I pried a small gap enough for my paws to slip in and cling onto the door. I held on the door through the gap with both of my paws and I began pulling hard on the door. Using my strength, the door slowly slid open.

The door slid open until it refused to move any further, and the gap is just enough for my body to squeeze through. I slowly squeezed through the gap, and I am met with a dark corridor. The other end of the corridor seem endless, and what the other side appears to be is swallowed by the void of darkness. I see a familiar figure lying on the floor of the red latex goo. It's a white latex wolf. It could be Human! I slowly threaded my way towards the white wolf, pulling my foot paws from the sticky red latex goo in every step I make.

Standing in front of the white wolf lying on the floor, I reached out both of my paws and slowly pulled the body from the red goo. I noticed the eyes of the white wolf slowly opened. The white wolf looks at me and wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into a hug. "Human! Is that really you?" I asked and the white wolf gave me a nod. The white wolf pulled away from me, and the ground suddenly shake. "Are you alright? Let's leave this room before something happens. This room is scary."

I escorted the white wolf to the door. The white wolf made it through the door before I felt a tug on my left hind leg. I looked down and noticed a red latex paw held on my hind leg. I wiggled my left hind leg free from the grasp of the red paw. I noticed the white wolf peeking through the gap between the door and the frame, staring at something form a far behind me. I turned to look, and I see a giant red latex wolf head appear from the void. "I shouldn't let this red latex beast leave this room, or else we won't have a place to live in."

A red latex beast rise from the red latex goo on the floor, and it slowly approaches me with it's arms reach out. "Human! Leave before you get hurt!" I looked at the white wolf and he shook his head. I looked at the red latex beast, and it is close enough to grab me by my shoulders. I quickly aimed for it's head, biting a chunk of red latex from the beast. I chew on the chunk of red latex goo as the red latex beast melt into a puddle.

I have to protect human by not letting these beasts escape the room! I swallowed the red latex goo, and another red latex beast rise from the red latex floor in front of me. I quickly bit off a chunk off the head, and the red latex beast melt to a puddle. I chew on the red latex goo as more and more red latex beast rise from the red latex floor. I noticed the giant red latex wolf head stare at me with it's glowing red eyes. Is this what they call an amalgamation from the dictionary?

I felt paws grasping and held onto my hind legs. I looked down and see hundreds of red latex paws hold on both of my hind legs. I panicked in horror as a crowd of red latex beasts form in front of me, all approaching towards me. One of the red latex beasts in front of me pushed me off balance, and I fell on my back on the red latex floor. Several latex arms and paws hold on my body, pulling me down to the floor. A red latex beast suddenly sat on my abdomen and began to strangle me with both of it's paws.

I tried to pull the red latex paws from my neck, but I can't get a grip on the arms of the red latex beast. I can't pull it off! Suddenly, the red latex beast hopped off me and turned into a puddle. I gasp for air as I notice the giant red latex wolf head dissolve into a puddle. The red latex flooring suddenly rushed towards the opened door behind me. "No!" I see the white wolf stumbled and sitting on his butt as the red latex goo quickly rushed outside the room. I pant as the remaining red latex leave the room. The white wolf quickly rushed towards me and wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into a tight hug.

"Human, I failed to contain the red latex." The white wolf shook his head, and I suddenly felt a kiss on my cheek. I looked at the white wolf and gave him a smile. "Thank you Human! At least I saved you from the red latex."
