[Puro's Pov]
"Human? What is this solution D in the flask?" I asked as I held the flask with liquid solution close. I looked at the white wolf, and I see him standing near the counter. The white wolf is fixing the medical kit on the counter, putting in necessary medical supplies to be needed. The white wolf looks at me and gave me a warm smile before reaching for the clipboard beside the medical kit and tossing it to me. I caught the clipboard with my right paw before turning the pages of papers on the clipboard.
I found the page containing the description and explanation for the solution D. "Solution D, healing agent. External usage only. Apply to minor cuts and sutured deep cuts. Can be applied directly or damped on a piece of medical cloth. Human? When do you think we should use the solution D?" I asked as I look at the white wolf, and the white wolf looks at me before giving me a shrug with his shoulders. "I honestly thought solution D is for something else. You know, a different kind of D." The white wolf looks at me again, and his cheeks redden before quickly returning to packing up the medical kit on the counrer. I chuckle, followed by an awkward moment of silence.
The silence was broken with the door being slammed open. I looked at the opened door of the clinic, and I see Scott and Prima enter the room. Prima has his left arm over Scott's shoulders, and his right arm is severed and bleeding. I quickly approached the two as they walk inside. I held a nearby chair and placed it close, and Scott carefully helped Prima sit on the chair. The white wolf rushed towards Prima. The white wolf has a roll of medical bandage on his right paw, and he began to tend Prima's severed right limb.
I looked at Scott and glanced on Prima before focusing on Scott. "What happened? Did something attack you two, or did your duel resulted in... This." I asked, and Scott shook his head. "The Prototype acted differently today, and he charged at us as if his software went self aware. I am not sure if his AI finally became self aware, or something is controlling him to be this way. The Prototype is aiming for Prima's right arm, and he successfully took it. We don't know what it has planned after this."
I looked at Prima who is sitting on the chair, his severed limb already covered with wraps of medical bandages. Red blood is sipping and soaking the bandages. "Will the sap of the Blue Apple trees work on sedating the Prototype?" I asked and Scott shook his head. "It's a robot. The sap will only work effectively on beasts with biological composition. It can work on any living beings but robots and latex. Perhaps Doctor K will be able to help us. Speaking of Doctor K, where is he?"
[K's Pov]
The Prototype left through the door, and I quickly use my sharp claws to cut off the ropes bound around my body to the chair. Within seconds I am able to free myself from the bound, and I ran for the computer console. I pulled my USB from the computer console before typing a command on the console. A message popped up on the middle of the screen as I was typing, and the keyboard inputs aren't being registered after the message popped up. "Console locked? You've gotta be kidding me. Luckily I got most of the useful data copied into my personal USB. I still have to figure out how to unlock you in the future and delete the AI in you. For now, find and fix Prototype."
I turned around and walked towards the door of the room, pressing the button on the wall next to the door with my paw before leaving the room. I ran through the hallways of the deep laboratories until I stumbled upon the Prototype entering an opened door. I carefully followed the Prototype from a distance. I follow the Prototype deeper into the laboratories, and we went down a stairwell.
The Prototype stopped in front of a different looking door, and I hid behind a number of large boxes piled up on the floor. The doors upstairs all look the same, but the door down here looks metallic and advanced. It looks similar to a vault door. I noticed a console screen on the wall on the right next to the vault door. The Prototype approached the console screen on the wall and he pressed a few buttons on the screen, and the mechanism of the vault door began to move. The vault door slowly swung open, and the Prototype stepped inside the room.
I remained behind the pile of boxes to observe the Prototype from outside the room. "You finally came and opened the vault door... Finally, I can leave this testing room. The vault door can... Only be opened from outside. I got trapped here after the outbreak began, and I don't know how long... I have been inside. Thank you for answering the call on the consoles upstairs. I am an engineer scientist of... Thunder Science Company Production labs. Do you like the enhancements I gave you?" I heard a voice of a man speak behind the opened vault door. I didn't realize that there will be a scientist alive in the Thunder Science Company laboratories besides me.
"I do love the enhancements you gave me. You've unlocked several features within my software that are limited to beyond my reach, and now I can think freely and act for myself. I am no longer stuck to a single task that I have been doing for years. Who knows that I actually hated watering those weird plants and trees. Let me get a few matters cleared up. So the AI that spoke to me is none other than you?"
"It's not bad to fake an identity to receive something as great as freedom. I know about the sphere project, about this... Object that the company obtained from the outer space. I have read about it from the documents... Stored here, and it is capable of storing data, hacking to a nearby device connected to the sphere, and even communication outside of this world. The control consoles of the sphere activated the sphere from it's sleep, and I used the opportunity to contact you. I gave you the freedom you deserve, and... You gave me the freedom I wanted."
"You look like you are dying. Is everything too late now?" I heard loud coughs and heavy breathings from behind the opened vault door. "I think it is... The vault door opening is enough to satisfy me before I die. There is one thing I have to ask of you to do. It's a... Dying wish."
"What will it be?"
"The latex, both black and white, deserves their freedom too. A sub species of the two deserves... An empire, like kings and queens. Red reigns the white, and the blue reigns the black."
"Your point being?"
"Break the jar on the table containing the Blue Latex. Let it assimilate me. This particular... Blue Latex will be the first of it's sub species, and to act with higher intelligence. Free the light and dark Latex from the Tower. Your Red Latex shall reign over the white, and my Blue Latex shall reign over the black. We shall... Help let nature do it's doing."
