Chapter 37: Rules of Nature

[Prima's Pov]

I opened my eyes to the void devouring the surroundings around me. I turned my head to look around, and I only see emptiness surround me. Why am I back in my bridge? Who am I bridging to? A figure then appeared in front of me. It's a Protogen, but it has red horns. It's fur is black and white, and the LED of the Protogen is purple. The Protogen looked at me and gave me a smirk. "It's great to finally see you again, my failed host."

My eyes widened in realization that this Protogen sounding and acting like someone familiar, that is being the Malware. I instinctively reached for the hilt of my Muramasa, but the scabbard and my red blade isn't on my side. "I thought you were gone! The computer was destroyed! How are you back?!" I snarled at the Protogen, and the Protogen chuckled at me. "Your little Doctor thought it would be nice to save this OS Software External Drive Enhancer program he has on the computer through a USB. The rest of what happened is up to you to think of."

"How? How are you back in this Protogen body?" I asked as I slowly approach the Protogen. "You are confused, hmm? It's simple. My plans are set in motion once again after the USB was inserted to a certain computer. I made a truce and a deal with the cosmic worm. It devourers this planet, and in return I get join it's tyranny and I serve it. I even get to enhance it's cybernetics." The Protogen began to laugh unnaturally, and it's demonic laugh sent shivers down my bio bot spine. I can't believe that the Malware has returned in the most unexpected way I never thought of.

Doctor K, why? Why didn't you follow? "How am I able to connect to you? I removed my visor, and I even destroyed it!" I asked and the Protogen chuckled at me. "I made this Protogen body with a bridging technically and enhancements included. As for me being able to connect to you, let's say I directly connected to your bio bot to project this bridging consciousness. Don't worry, I won't be bridging to you after this. I only bridged to you to tell you about my return. Have fun while you still can, my failed host."

I quickly awoken from the bridging, and I realized where I paused myself doing. Everything in the bridging only took a second in the real world? I was holding the blue latex blob, and there's a man lying on the floor with his right arm severed. The man is reaching out to me his left arm. "Give me... The blue latex. The prophecy must be... Done." I smirked at the man and I turned to look at Doctor K. Doctor K is already approaching towards us with the Primagen visor on his arms. Doctor K stood beside me, and we both look down at the man.

"I have no interest of interrogating this man. You do the honors, Doctor K. I will consume this blue latex while I listen to you." I stated and Doctor K gave me a nod. Now if I can do this correctly, I can alter the properties of my red latex enough for it to accept the blue latex on my body. I closed my eyes as I gently consume the blue latex blob, munching and chewing on it. I felt the blue latex enter down my body, and I felt my red latex body merging with the blue latex.

I then felt my tail grow longer, and my left latex paw grew numb. Half of my visor grew numb as well as I felt the red latex and blue latex do it's magic to my body. I slightly groaned as I opened my eyes, feeling my left paw and right half of my visor burn up. I noticed Doctor K and the man staring at me. The burning sensation slowly subsided as I raise my left paw to observe. "Your assimilated Primagen form is mixing with your red and blue latex. Your severed limb connected to your cybernetics is now colored red, and your left paw is colored blue. Your tail also grew longer, and the tip of it is colored red."

"Nice observations, Doctor K. My days in this world are already numbered, and I must prepare for the arrival of my nemesis." Doctor K looks at me and he tilts his head to his left. "What nemesis? Who is that, Prima?" He asked, and I quickly grasp the lab coat of Doctor K by the collar with my left paw. "Where's the USB? Where's the USB that contains your OS Software External Drive Enhancer program?" His eyes widened in my sudden aggression. "Prima! What are you--"

"Where?!" I snarled at him before pushing him from me. Doctor K landed on the floor, still holding the Primagen visor. "Last t-tme I've seen it is in the room housing the sphere. It's connected to the computer console." I closed my eyes and snarled at myself to my dismay. I then felt a tug on my right hind leg and I opened my eyes. It's the man on the floor, and his left hand is holding on my hind leg. I quickly shook off the hand from my hind leg, and I looked at Doctor K.

"Burry the Primagen visor in memory of the Behemoth. I need to get my revenge on someone, if you don't mind." I quickly returned my Muramasa to it's scabbard, and I looked at the man on the floor. The blue latex floor began to assimilate him, and he cries and screams in fear. I ran out of the room before being stopped by a wall of red latex in front of me. "This isn't here before. The Prototype is on the move."

[Scott's Pov]

Puro and Colin are both lying on the floor with their tummies expanded, filled with latex. The floor of the main lobby is covered by black and white latex, and a line is separating the two territories. Black and white beasts are fighting and consuming one another. I hope none of them thinks of breaching out of the facility and use the outside world as a battlefield. I noticed the elevator doors slide open, and I see the Prototype step out of the elevator shaft. It quickly charged at me, and formed a cross with my arms to block the incoming attack. The Prototype kicked me on my abdomen, and the impact sent me flying to the door of the main entrance.

The double doors of the main entrance were broken from me crashing to it. The double doors broke down, and I crashed on the floor of sand outside. I groan as I notice the white and black latex ooze out of the facility and to the sand.

"Shit!"
