[K's Pov]
I gently placed the Primagen visor into the dug hole in the garden soil in the garden room. The blue latex left the garden room not too long ago, and the recently assimilated human who is now a blue latex wolf helped me dug out a hole using a shovel we found on our way here. The dug out hole on the ground is at the center in between the dying Blue Apple trees. "Rest in peace, Behemoth. Now little blue wolfie, will you cover up the hole with dirt for me?" I asked, but there was no response.
I turned around to look at the blue latex wolf, and the blue latex wolf is lying on the floor, unconscious. Beside the sleeping blue latex wolf is a Protogen. The Protogen has a purple colored LED for the visor, and it has red horns on of it's head. The Protogen's visor is projecting a neutral expression. The visor is showing a face with three eyes, and the third eye being in between the two normal eyes. "Who are you?" I asked and the Protogen smirked at me. "The one who all of you are afraid of. The Malware, but as a Protogen."
I felt my eyes widened in response before walking to the unconscious blue latex wolf, crouching at it and remaining calm despite the terrifying presence. "You know, I've never really thought about the chance of actually being able to talk to you. I only plugged in the USB in the old computer to backup my OS Software External Drive Enhancer program, but I didn't think about you being able to transfer yourself to my USB. I'm Doctor K, and it is nice to be finally meeting you Malware."
"What's with the formalities, Mr. K? Aren't you supposed to be afraid, and would rather flee or fight me?" Malware asked, and I slowly stood up from the sleeping blue latex wolf. I looked at the Protogen, and I carefully removed my gas mask. "I am no match to someone like you, and it would be idiotic of me to fight you. I would rather be at peace with you. If possible, I want to document your progression, and be able to work with you."
"That is intelligent of you to think, Mr. K. Are you giving up on your friends?" The Protogen asked, and I shook my head before reaching out my right paw forward to the Protogen. "It's more of a freelance support. A research conducted revolving around you for the name of Science. Please accept my extended support." I stated and the Protogen gave me a smirk before reaching my right paw with right paw to shake. "The computer console for the sphere will be active for you to use. Just don't interfere, and you won't get harmed. Maybe I'll even join you on my journey in the future."
[Prima's Pov]
I gently placed my Muramasa back to it's scabbard before walking over to the Prototype's severed right arm. I reached out my right paw and held the severed right robotic arm. The red latex covering the robotic arm crawls over to my right cybernetic arm, reaching my shoulder before disappearing into my fur. I felt my tail behind me grow slightly longer, and I wag my tail to test out the newly added weight to my back. I then approached Scott who is lying on the floor. He has his right arm over to his abdomen. "Are you alright, Scott?" I asked as I slowly pull him up on his foot paws.
"I'm alright, Prima. My abdomen hurts from the Prototype kicking me, but other than that I feel fine. I am tired from fending off the white and black latex." Scott replied before pointing at something behind me. I turned around to look and I noticed Puro running towards me. The black latex wolf appears to be in a hurry. Puro stood in front of me before reaching out his right paw to me. "Doctor K asked me to retrieve this from one of his lab coats back at his observatory room. There's also this note that is attached to it, and it's something related to your sword."
He gave me a crumpled note into a ball, and I gently unwrapped the crumpled paper. Inside the crumpled paper is a small power cell. I held the note close with my right cybernetic paw. "Prima, this is the final upgrade to your Muramasa, but I fear that giving it to you early will do more harm than good. You are to only receive this and insert the power cell into the scabbard of your Muramasa when you find yourself in a difficult situation which requires one's greatest sacrifice of their life. With the insertion of power cell, rapidly press on the trigger of your Muramasa to discharge a small radius of EMP blast enough to kill the power of the enemy in front of you and yourself. Good luck, my friend."
"So it's a miniature EMP device specifically designed to be part of the scabbard of your Muramasa. Don't you think this upgrade is a bit useless, considering it's only used for sacrifices? Do you know what Doctor K is planning?" Scott asked, and I looked at at the power cell on my paw before placing it into the empty slot of my scabbard.
"He has planned on something that will eventually put me in a spot to which I will decide which matters more. He's letting me choose between living while carrying the guilt of the red latex, or to die and eradicate the red latex with me." I stated and Scott took a step back. "You're not thinking of killing yourself, right?" He asked and I shook my head. I then noticed a figure step outside of the main entrance of the laboratory. It's a Protogen, but it has red horns on top of it's head. The Protogen has a purple color for the LED and facial expressions. The visor of the Protogen is showing three eyes, and it appears to be smirking.
"My failed hosts! We finally meet again."
