~•[Chapter 50]•~
SEISHA:
"I am so happy."
He looked at each one of us bearing happiness in those ice green eyes. For sure, iiyak 'yan at pinipigilan niya lang dahil isa siyang makisig at malakas na hari.
Everyone will always describe crying as a weak and trivial expression of humans.
But, crying is the final stage. If you feel too much happiness, you tend to cry of joy: if you feel too much pain and sadness, you cry because it is too much to handle.
Maybe that is it, we cry because we can never bear the pain, the happiness and sadness, the sorrow, grief, and even the anger that is stimulating inside of us. It is an indicator that we are humans, and we live through our emotions.
"Father, this is a happy time, huwag kang umiyak," panunukso ni Frencia sa ama.
"That is not a good joke, Ama." Leveius gave off a darting stare at the King but he jolted back when Frencia handed another leche flan on his table. "Thanks, Cia. This is a new inventory!"
"Ate Seisha made that," she said and looked at me. "Should I throw a party?"
Umiling ako na siyang ikinagigil niya. "I have trouble with controlling the heat. Forgive me, your Highness if I only made four of them."
"It is alright, my child. We can arrange a new cooking set for you tomorrow.
"It has been a while since I last saw your face, you seem troubled, my child. I will not stop you two to go and rest," dugtong niya.
"Dammit! Brother, that is the last one and you ruined it!"
"Good for you," walang ganang wika ni Lucius. "We must go, Father. Thank you for the preparations, but as you said: we should rest."
We are rude for leaving the hall."
"If you did that to continue what we left earlier, then let's get this straight: isali mo ako sa plano niyo," tugon ko.
"Did they know you've regained your memories?" he asked after halting, which made me bumped into his back and bounce back a few inches away. "I am sorry, Sasha. Is your head alright?"
