Walang nagsalita, tiningnan ko ulit ang cellphone ko kung hindi ko nasagot but pero nasagot naman.
"Deon?"
"I miss you." he responded softly at the other line. Hindi ko mapigilan ang pag-angat ng aking labi.
"I miss you too. Hindi ka ba busy?"
"I am but I just want to hear your soft voice." Aniya. "Are you okay there?"
Kumunot ang noo ko sa kaniyang tanong.
"Oo naman. Bakit? Ikaw? okay ka lang ba?" I don't want to think negative but I can sense something. He looks bothered or I don't know.
