Iniisip ko pa rin nagtatampo pa siya pero sabi niya okay na daw siya.
I slept comfortably that night. So I woke up early the next morning.
I prepared breakfast for the two of us.
Exactly after I cooked, he came out of the room.
Our eyes met, I smiled at him and greeted him good morning which he also did to me back.
"Come on, let's eat breakfast." I said to him.
"Ah, I'll just have breakfast in the office, hon. I still have a lot of paperworks to do." He said.
I bit my lower lips and nodded.
Naglakad siya papalapit sa'kin at hinalikan ako sa pisngi.
"Bye,take care ok?"wika niya.
Tumango naman ako.
Akmang tatalikod na siya sa akin ng pigilan ko siya.
Tahimik na inayos ko ang necktie na suot niya.
Nagsalubong na naman ang tingin namin.
He smirked.
Napatitig ako sa kaniyang mapupulang labi at binigyan ko iyon ng mabilis na halik.
"Ingat ka ah?" sabi ko.
Nagpaalam na siya sa'kin.
Mag isa akong kumain ng inihanda kong almusal na para sana sa aming dalawa.
Pagkatapos ko kumain ay naghugas ako ng aking pinagkainan. Kasunod ay dumiretso ako sa aking kwarto para maghanda sa pagligo.
Pagkatapos kong maligo ay nag ayos ako para pumunta sa SYHT Publishing. Ngayon na kasi ang deadline ng nobelang isinulat ko.
Nagmaneho ako papuntang SYHT Publishing.Pagdating ko doon ay may ilang bumabati sa'kin ng magandang umaga,binabati ko naman sila pabalik.
Nakasalubong ko si Scarlet na secretary ni Boss.
"Max,pinapapunta ka pala ni Sir Klyron sa office niya." she informed.
Tumango naman ako.
Pagdating ko sa tapat ng pinto ng opisina ni Boss ay kumatok muna ako bago pumasok.
Nakita ko siyang prenteng nakaupo sa kanyang swivel chair.
"Good morning, Sir." I greeted him.
"Good morning, Ms. Aczid." He formally greeted me.
"Do you need anything from me?" I asked.
"Yes but sit down first." He said.
I followed him.
"Ria has resigned as your editor." he informed.
I was surprised because of that, "What? Why? Why didn't she tell me? What is the reason?" I asked one after another.
Boss laughed.
"Ria is pregnant and she's about to get married. Her husband doesn't want her to get tired. He wants her to take care of herself and their baby so she's always at home." Boss explained.
Napa "oh" naman ako dun.
"Look that Ria met a lucky man." she commented.
"Yeah." his short answer. "When did you and your fiance get married?" he asked.
