Yes, Oscar is a butt in this. Nothing new lol

I'm waiting for the day where I write Oscar as a nice person. It may be in the near future, it may not be. Who knows!

Enjoy!

Buttons looked around the hallway, mindlessly indulging himself to his favorite candy. He didn't have much to in a hallway, but his mind wandered everywhere.

"Hey." His eyes widened at the sound of Oscar Delancey's voice. Buttons looked behind him to see if his brother was there, only to find Morris nowhere to be seen. That might've been worse.

Oscar smirked evilly, backing Buttons into the lockers, the sound making Buttons' ears ring. He stood right in front of him, terrifying him, the gummy bears almost long forgotten.

Buttons breathed heavily, his heart pounding in his chest and against his rib cage. He'd been soaked by Oscar before, before he, Henry, and Finch got together and the two boys started protecting him everywhere they went. But neither of them were here right now, and he was too scared to do anything he would've done in the past.

Oscar looked down at his hand, chuckling at what he saw. Buttons gasped when he realized what he was looking at, knowing he would lose his favorite candy. Oscar turned his face into one of disgust, looking Buttons up and down.

"Are you sure you need that?" Buttons furrowed his brows at the beginning of the speech. He didn't know what Oscar was talking about. Of course he didn't need the gummy bears, and they were obviously a bit on the unhealthier side, but they were good and he liked them. "They seem pretty unhealthy."

"I..." He didn't know what to say. Yeah, sure, they weren't the most beneficial snack, but Buttons still liked them. Shouldn't that be enough?

"I'm just saying", Oscar continues, feigning concern. "You just...look like you're putting on a little weight."

Buttons casts his eyes down out of fear of looking Oscar in the eye, knowing that was just a sign of giving in. What was he talking about?

The door to Henry's classroom opened abruptly, the boy walking out with a smile on his face. Buttons gasped as Oscar placed a hand on his shoulder, squeezing it roughly.

"Just...think about it."

Buttons and Henry watched the nuisance walk away, both of them confused. Buttons didn't know what happened, just as much as Henry had no idea.

He stood pressed against the lockers as his boyfriend walked up to him, grabbing his hands tenderly. Henry watched as Oscar turned the corner, a bit of pride in his step. He shook his head, sending a look of disgust his way. "What was that about?"

Buttons should tell him everything. Maybe they can come up with a plan to stop the harassment. He should tell him everything that was said, every feeling he held. It was the right thing to do.

Yet, Buttons couldn't do it. "Nada."

Henry furrowed his brows, an unsure look on his face. He looked at the hand that held the gummy bears, glancing back up to Buttons' eyes. "You're sure, Benny?"

Buttons nodded quickly, stuffing the bag of gummy bears into Henry's palm, with a smile. "I want you to have these. Sorry I ate some of them."

Henry raised his brows. "These were yours. And you don't have to—"
