I just decided I'm gonna post these. The last oneshot I was working on was for a different fandom, one I'm not apart of of. Because of that reason, it's been very difficult to write. I did finish these, however.

I had some fun writing this, if I remember correctly. Ike is so sweet in this chapter, for the most part, and I like it.

As Hotshot says, "Happy Ike, happy life."

Enjoy!

"A double date?" Ike and Tommy Boy glanced at each other, unsure what to think. This was new.

While Elmer, Ike, Tommy Boy, and Hotshot were good friends, they weren't best friends. They were fairly distant from each other, and Hotshot barely knew the two. "Why?"

"Well, I want to hang out with you guys more", Elmer reasoned, glancing at Hotshot. The taller stared at them for a while, not one thought behind his eyes, until Elmer glanced at their boyfriends. Hotshot gasped.

"Oh! Yeah, I wanted to get to know you guys more", Hotshot added, Ike rolling his eyes fondly. "I already know JoJo and Mike pretty well, so I wanted to know more of you."

Tommy Boy nodded, a small smile on his face. He looked to Elmer. "I'm down."

The shorter celebrated quietly, making Tommy laugh. Hotshot stared at Ike, hoping he would agree. He was aware the man took dates very seriously, seeing them as ways to have Hotshot to himself for an entire night and enjoy himself without worry. But this was with two other people. What if they don't like our usual dynamic?

Hotshot could see the doubt behind Ike's eyes and moved to sit next to him, wrapping an arm around him. He smiled softly. "It'll be fun. We'll do something simple, take a night a out on the town. I'll be with you the entire time."

Ike knew that was code for "I won't let anything and happen to you", and that was code for something else. Hotshot was surprisingly hard to read, but it was clear he really wanted to do this, and Ike didn't want to be the one to rain on his parade.

With a sigh, Ike crossed his arms shook his head. "Fine. I'm in."

Elmer and Hotshot high-fived, making Tommy Boy chuckle and Ike smile. "We'll leave at seven", Elmer decided, nodding once and dragging Hotshot out of the room. Ike and Tommy Boy glanced at each other.

"What do they have planned?" Ike shrugged at Tommy's question, staring at the bedroom door his boyfriend and Elmer walked out of.

"Don't know", he mumbled, brows furrowing curiously. "I bet it's pretty unique, though."

Their attire was dressy casual, fancier than what they usually wear. Elmer directed that everyone wear something they can move around in, something nice but breathable. Ike argued that sweatpants were exactly that, but backed down after Elmer nearly threw a shoe at him.

Tommy Boy sighed as he stopped the car on the side of the road, nearly missing a No Parking Zone. He took a deep breath, turning toward his boyfriend. "Ellie, what are we doing here?"

Ike chuckled, eyes focused on his phone as he muttered, "That's adorable."

Elmer grinned, practically vibrating with excitement. They put a lot of thought into this night, having planned it for a few weeks. It took forever to gain a spot on a reservation list at the fanciest restaurant in town, and they had to borrow money from friends—which they fully intend to pay back, despite their protests—but it did help Hotshot was there. He was in on it too, keeping one big secret that Elmer was bursting at the seams to tell. "Hotshot and I had been planning this for a while now."
