I realized I hadn't written a get together one shot for Spot and Albert, and now I want to. This is apart of the "wendy's" and "coffee shop" dates if you remember those.Enjoy!

Wanna hang out?
Albert stared at his phone tiredly, blinking the brightness away. His phone felt heavy in his hand and his blanket had slid its way down his body. At least it was quiet.
He had been rotting in bed like still bread after a longer than average shift at work, where people seemed to collectively make his job harder than usual. One might not usually think taking and editing photos for strangers was hard, but people liked to believe they were creative geniuses and Albert was reinterpreting their vision. In a way, they weren't wrong, but Albert would never tell them they were geniuses. Some of the pictures he'd edited today alone weren't his type, and others were simply hot messes.
But he got it done, and at around midnight, he crashed into his bed and tried to think about the upsides like Elmer recommended: for one, he didn't have to hear any whining voices. Today was an editing day, and Race was spending time with his own boyfriend, so Albert gladly took up the chance to leave his hearing aid out. It was comforting to work in silence, even if some people found it lonely.
Another upside, apparently, would be this text from Spot.
Got plans?
He and Spot had been dating for a few weeks, but they weren't boyfriends yet. Albert had been waiting for Spot to spill his guts to him or whatever he planned. He knew Spot wouldn't really appreciate being asked out with flowers and a date, even though Albert was confident he wouldn't be rejected. So he waited patiently, slowly getting to know Spot as a friend before getting to know him as a partner. Although it was slower than he was used to, it was nice. He liked it.
Albert chuckled when he saw Spot's response.
Not really. Just wanted to see you.
This sounds like a booty call.
I-
No
I'm not into your booty:( you're not?
But it's so great! You know what I meant
Yeah yeah
Wanna go upstate? See some corn?Hell yeah I'll pick you up in 10
Albert grinned and hopped out of bed. His fatigue suddenly disappeared—he wondered if this is how Grandpa Joe felt when Charlie told him he found the last golden ticket. With the same excitement and speed, he ran to his closet and pulled out the first hoodie and pair of jeans he could find, and rushed to pull them over his body.
Spot had never taken him on a date this late before. They'd been out together for hours of course, but those times he was out at eight and home at four at the latest. Albert was going out at 12:30, and he didn't know when he'd be home.
"Race!" he shouted, rushing to his side table to put in his hearing aid. He could hear its beeping over Race's stumbling down the hall, and by the time he turned around, Race was panting and worried.
"Hey", Albert greeted, grabbing a pair of socks off of the floor and tugged them on. "I'm going out with Spot. Just thought you should know."
Race sighed as he rubbed his eye, and Albert chuckled at the frustration in it. "I could kill you, DaSilva. You woke me up for a booty call."
