It had been a while since Lily was able to use her powers to harm others. She was one of the very few that hadn't been affected by the dark curse; and for the most part, she had been alone. She had mostly been alone for the last decade. She didn't care much for other people, so chose to have limited interactions with them. Her willingness to distance herself from others meant she had nobody around to practice her magic on. So, being able to hold Belle frozen to the spot was quite the thrill for her.

Eventually, Lily grew tired of the brunette's crying and let go of her, but that wasn't before she made the gun fly into the hand she held the shawl with.

"Please, just let me have the shawl." Belle begged. "He needs it to find his son."

"What makes you think his son wants to be found?" Lily asked.

Killian's voice could be heard as he entered the room. He grinned at Belle as he stood next to his sister. Seeing the twins standing next to each other created an unsettling feeling in the pit of Belle's stomach.

"We're doing that boy a favour by keeping the crocodile from finding him." Killian said, taking the gun from his sister.

"Haven't you hurt Rumple enough?!" Belle snapped.

"Oh, I've hurt him?" Killian laughed bitterly.

"You stole his wife." Belle said.

"Tell me something, love." Killian said, stepping closer to her. "If a woman comes to you and begs you to take her away, is that theft?"

Belle frowned. "Why would she leave him?"

"Because he was a coward." Killian replied. "And because she loved me. The only reason I didn't have my sister burn this shawl when we acquired it, is because she made it."

"I'm sorry she died, but vengeance won't bring her back." Belle said. "Vengeance is not the answer."

The pirate shook his head. "You said died like it was some kind of accident. Is that what he told you?"

"He never told me how she died." Belle informed him.

"No, of course not." Killian chuckled in a bitter tone. "He killed her. He ripped her heart out and crushed it right in front of me."

Lily's eyes moved to her brother and she watched him carefully. She noticed the mixed look of anger and sadness in her brother's eyes and the pain in his voice as she described how his former lover had died.

"That bastard will do anything to hold onto his power." Killian said. "Anyone who has ever gotten close to him has either run away or been killed by him. What makes you think you're any different? Why would you fight for a man like that?"
