Lily stood in the doorway of Lorelai's bedroom and watched as her daughter frantically scribbled something down in a notebook, before she flipped through the pages of what looked like an old book. Lily couldn't see the pages, or the cover of the book for obvious reasons, so she had no idea what the book was about; but a gut feeling told her it was probably something related to Lorelai's abilities.
"You study like Henry does before he has a test in school." Lily said, finally breaking the silence and causing Lorelai to freeze up, like she had been caught doing something that was forbidden. "It's alright, sweetheart. You don't need to freeze up like that."
Lorelai quietly set her pen down. "Ophelia told you, didn't she?"
Lily nodded her head. "She did."
"I'm trying to learn what it means for me and for you. What I saw...I don't want that to happen." Lorelai said.
"Sometimes things can't be avoided. Fate will take its course, no matter what you do to try and avoid it." Lily said.
"You have worked far too hard to wind up dead, Mother." Lorelai said, glancing down at the book before her. "I need to learn what this all means. I need to know why I'm seeing it and if there is a way to stop it from happening, I will find it."

Regina walked down the street, dressed in all black and mentally preparing herself to deal with her old friends. She had spent the last thirty minutes at home convincing Lily that she didn't need to come with her, that she was more than capable of defending herself against them. Besides, one of them had to be home to protect their children.
She took a deep breath before she entered the diner, and her eyes instantly fell on Maleficent who sat with Astrid, Ursula and Cruella in a booth. "So, the rumours are true. You're back from the ashes." Regina said.
"What are you doing here, Regina?" Maleficent asked.
"Making it easier for you. If you want to kill me, I'm right here." Regina replied.
Maleficent didn't reply straight away. She magically disappeared and reappeared standing in front of Regina. "So, that's why you think I'm back, to kill you." She said.
"I trapped you underground for thirty years." Regina said. "And you're not big on forgiveness."
"That's true, but what you did is nothing in the grand scheme. There are far worse crimes that must be answered for." Maleficent said.
