Even though the Snow Queen had been defeated, Fallon was still determined to discover the truth about her brother's suspicious activities. She wanted to confront him about it all and maybe expose him, but there was no way she could do that without hard evidence. She was quietly organising things in the back room of the pawn shop when she heard the bell above the front door ring. She stood up to go and greet whoever it was, but before she could leave the room, Gold appeared in the doorway.

"I'll take care of this. You stay in here." He said.

"Why?" Fallon asked.

"This customer is a little tough to deal with." Gold replied.

Fallon raised her eyebrow. "Difficult?"

"Yes, so stay put." Gold said before he left the room.

Fallon rolled her eyes. She glanced back at the stock she was organising and briefly thought about returning to it, but when she heard Killian's voice, she changed her mind. She quietly stepped forward and hid just out of sight to overhear the conversation.

"They didn't leave." She could hear Killian say. "The Snow Queen mucked up the border. Once you cross, there's no coming back."

"If only the Snow Queen had succeeded...everything would be much simpler." Gold said.

"Yes. Perfect cover for your exit." Killian said. "But everybody survived. Sorry for the inconvenience."

"What about our friends from Arendelle?" Gold asked.

"Still searching for a portal back." Killian replied.

"Well, that is a problem. Can't have that Anna running around town."

"She knows, doesn't she? She knows what you're doing, cleaving yourself from the dagger, so you can leave with your power."

Fallon frowned. She wasn't even aware that cleaving yourself from something such as the dagger was even possible. But then she thought about her grandmother and how she became a dark one; and how she immune from the dagger from the very beginning. It was starting to become evident to her that there was so much about magic that she didn't know or fully understand; and that terrified her.

Despite knowing she was doing the right thing, Adrienne felt overwhelmed with a feeling of sadness. She carefully opened the box that contained Marian's heart and turned to face the frozen woman that lay in front of her. She sighed heavily and carefully put the heart back into Marian's chest.
