STORYBROOKE
PRESENT DAY

Gold stood off to the side as he watched Neal and Henry sword fighting with wooden swords. Regina approached him and watched the scene with him. "It appears we have both been pushed to the side." She said "Now, do you care to tell me what your son is doing with mine?"

"Oh, that's right." Gold grinned. "You don't know. He's Henry's father."

"What?!" Regina said, looking at Gold in shock.

"Do I need to spell it out for you?" Gold asked sarcastically.

Regina couldn't believe what she was hearing. Her enemy was her son's grandfather. Of all the people in the world, she thought to herself. The pair then started to walk away.

"You planned this." Regina said.

"Oh, I planned nothing." Gold grinned. "Henry being the child of my son wasn't known to me at the time. It was fate...and fate as a sense of humour."

"So, what? Are you going to play the part of the loving grandpa now?" Regina scoffed. "They won't accept you, no matter what you do. Not your son, not any of them."

"We'll see." He said.

"I've already seen, Gold. I've see your dark heart and it always wins. You always choose darkness." Regina said.

"You think you know me, dearie." Gold said with a shake of his head. "But you don't."

"I know you well enough." Regina replied. "If your own son couldn't bring out the good in you, who will?"

Lorelai sat on the stairs outside the bed and breakfast. She was glad she was able to help with August, but using her abilities took it's toll her on. It always does. She has been able to see and hear things that have long since passed since she was a young child.

The visions she has can be something simple, like when she saw Henry running away to destroy magic, but then something incredibly intense. She was just a baby when she had her first vision. She saw her grandmother, Alice, dying just seconds before she did. Obviously since Lorelai was just a baby at the time, all she could do was cry. She never forgot about it but never told anyone about it either.
