Lily stood in the street, arms folded as she stared at the people that had slumped over the tables outside of Granny's diner. The entire time, except for a limited few, had fallen victim to a sleeping curse cast by Maleficent. She had never personally been under the effects of such a curse, but as the Maleficent had used a weaker variant of the curse, she had been granted natural immunity due to her being a Dark One.

She hadn't said a word since the flash of purple escaped Maleficent's staff to race across town. She didn't see the need to. She was only there to support Regina anyway. She had no intention of participating further than she already had. She wanted to be anywhere else at that particular moment. She wanted to find her family and make sure they were okay, but in that same breath, she couldn't leave Regina. She was afraid of what might happen to her if she was to leave her for even a minute.

A heavy sigh escaped her lips as she allowed her gaze to move from outside the diner to look inside. The same scene wherever she looked. She knew nobody deserved to suffer the effects of magic, especially as they were all innocent people just trying to go about their day. It felt strange for her to think like that. It was the complete opposite to how she used to think before she came to Storybrooke.

In the Enchanted Forest, she only truly cared for herself. Her children had long since left their home to seek out their own lives, and to escape the chaos and danger that inevitably followed Lily wherever she went. She only had herself to rely on and feeling like she had lost everything, she stopped caring. Not to the extent of removing her heart and losing her humanity, but it was enough that she didn't care if innocent people were hurt in the crossfire. They were simply collateral damage to her and nothing more.

Now that she had been in Storybrooke for the last few years of her life, she had changed. Whether she liked to admit it or not, the town and its people had changed her. She used to believe it was for the better but then she lost Evander and the good people of Storybrooke didn't seem so good to her anymore. While she had moved past their lack of care and action during that time and she had forgiven them for the most part, she never forgot. She had helped them and in return, they were nowhere to be found when she needed them the most.

She frowned slightly as her gaze lowered and her thoughts consumed her, only looking up when a sharp cold breeze blew past. She turned around to see Maleficent and Cruella waiting for her outside of the Charming's apartment building. She didn't say a word to them as she entered the building and made her way upstairs; where Regina had unlocked the apartment door and was already snooping around inside with Gold and Astrid.

Lily's gaze immediately fell to the couch where Emma and Killian sat, completely under the effects of Maleficent's curse. Part of her wanted to walk over to them, just to check that they were both still alive, but the other part of her knew better and she chose to remain where she stood.
