TW: detail of torture

The room was timid, the scratchy blanket contrasted with her bumpy arms. The girl tossed and turned, flailing her head about. 56,789, The Handler will arrive soon. The feminine leader was getting sick of the silence, of the disrespect her capture showed her. 56,790, and right on time the door clicked open.

"Eh-hem." The fashionable woman cleared her throat, "Echo, I have a little gift for you, sweetheart." The fake kindness stringing in each word.

Like always, the red-head did not nudge, her swollen eyes bared into the wall. "Okay, I need you to stand for me." It may have come across as a request, but it was a demand. So, Echo complied,  her shaky knees wobbling. "Now, I'm just going to put this..." A contraption was hastily clamped around the red-head neck, "Like that."

Echo raved, fingers trying to ply it from her skin. "It's no use, darling." The Handler, tauntingly, wave a remote before the girl, "Only I can take it off you."

The woman smiled at the teens pleading eyes, "It has been ten years since you have last spoken, am I correct?" The ginger nodded rapidly, "Good, I am going to ask you the question again, but this time if you don't respond with words, I'll hit this bed red button, okay? Now, how long has it been since you last spoke."

"I-...." Echo stumbled, shutting her eyes, "M-mm...." A shock was jolted through the teen body, she crumbled at the single push of a button. She hew to her knees grunting, the doors she had securing her enrage had been breached, she felt as though there were tiny little security guards in her body trying to take down the grisly, colossal monsters of anger invading her blood stream.

"Alright, we will try this again tomorrow. I hope for better results."

Echo gasped, a door slamming open, burst her terror of nightmares. "Piece of shit." Diego marched to the time-traveller, "Do you have any idea what you just did?" The man was caught, lifted up into the air by the bulker male, "No, let me-...Get your ape hands off me!"

"I can do this as long as it takes you to calm down." Luther dead-panned, squeezing him.

"Fine." Huffed Diego, restraining himself.

Luther let his brother down, "Now, wanna tell us what you're talking about?"

"Our brother's been pretty busy since he got back. He was in the middle of that shootout at Griddy's, and then at the Gimble brothers, after the guys in masks attacked the Academy, looking for him." Knife man pointed to Five, glaring at him.

"None of which is any of your concern." The boy discarded, dully.

"It is now." Diego breathed, "They just killed my friend."
