Echo awed at the buffet. She piled whatever she could fit on her plate; fruit, jelly, fish, toast, cheese, everything. A shoulder bumped with hers, she flipped round to see who it was. Diego's new son winked at her from afar, sliding into a booth. "Diego!" She floated to the table, seating in the air again at the table, "You sons creeping me out." she glimpsed back at the boy, only for him to pump his brows at her.
"Wait, who's..." Five accompanied them, "Who's the mother?"
"Lila." revealed the now Dad.
"Whoa, Lila's here?"
"Was. She dropped him off on my lap last night and then bolted."
"I don't much care for that one." Klaus shared.
"Technically, she's family." mentioned Five.
"She was trying to murder us, like, yesterday."
"Yeah, like I said, 'family.'" The boy pushed himself up onto the tall chair, "Diego, is she coming back?"
"Well, she goddamn better be because we got more important things to be dealing with right now!" Number Two directed his yell at the son.
"Calm down, Shh." Klaus hushed his brother.
"Diego, can you just tell him that I'm too old for him." Echo tilted her head, "Also I'm not available." She motioned her hand to Five.
"Where's Luther?" Vanya approached the table.
"Who cares?" Knife boy dismissed, "Probably out for a...run." Diego got distracted byt Vanya's new hairstyle.
"Mmm! Love the haircut." Klaus complemented.
Number Seven smiled, "So, I, uh, talked to Marcus last night."
"Wait, what?" Diego reviewed, "You talked with the enemy? By yourself?"
"Somebody had to do something."
"Who elected you, Vanya?"
"It's, uh, Viktor."
"Who's Viktor?"
"I am. It's who I've always been." Viktor looked around at the four blank face, trying to get a read, "Uh, is that an issue for anyone?"
"Nah, I'm good with it."
"Yeah, me too." Klaus tossed some fruit in his mouth, "Cool."
Echo gave a soft smile, "Thanks for telling us."
"Truly happy for you, Viktor." Five let out a smidge of compassion before returning to his normal grumpy self, "But last time I checked, you don't speak for this family."
"Okay, well, it's fine, okay?" Viktor took a seat, "Marcus totally gets it. He doesn't want a war any more than we do."
"What are you talking about." Number Two snapped, "Se tried to homicide us!"
