The man who Lan Zhan's thought was odd his name was Changming which meant flourishing and bright and his appearance begged to differ from the meaning of his name. He lived with his senior brother their parents died at a young age living them behind to provide for themselves.
He was telling Wei Wuxian that at a very young age they had to scavage for food and they had no one to take care of them, his elder brother never liked him, nor loved him. He never knew the reason and his brother had taken on odd jobs as they grew older. His older brother Only provided him with one meal a day and one pair of clothes so he had a rough child hood and depended solely on begging and his brother.
He was a lot like Wei Wuxian in terms of their child hood and he told them he loved his brother even though he was treated badly and he cared about people and hoped he could become a cultivator one day but he couldn't he wasn't as lucky as Wei Wuxian.
So in all Wei Wuxian felt very sorry for him and currently they were hugging each other Changming was crying on Wei Ying’s shoulder and Lan Zhan wanted to explode he knew he shouldn't be getting jealous at this point but he couldn't help it they were here to help find missing people not distribute free hugs and the way Changming was clutching the very places that was only meant for him to touch why did he have to touch his waist that beautiful thin waist that his palms fit perfectly on. He was clearly drinking vinegar
What happened to patting someone on the back or letting someone else comfort him even when Sizhui went to hold him he rushed back into Wei Ying's arms like his husband was the only one with arms around and every other person had been armless.
Lan Zhan didn't want his jealousy to show, he felt sorry for Changming but he didn't want him grabbing his husband like he was a bag of rice so he hoped the interrogation could be over soon but all the guy was doing since the came here was talking about his child hood instead of his missing brother.
Changming had a fair appearance he was handsome with a light skin and long black hair that fell across his back with no head piece to adorn it. His clothes were ugly and dirty he looked very skinny, bones protruding as a result of not been fed well, he had scars from wounds he gained from trying to survive and Wei Ying couldn't help feel sorry for him.
This might have been him if he didn't get adopted into the Jiang family and he felt sad for him and just wanted to help him since he had no one else In his life and if that meant comforting him by hugging him he was going to do it even if he could feel that Lan Zhan's jealousy might boil him alive he was going to ignore it.
He understood the struggles he went through and he saw him self in this young man and he was determined to help him so he went on with the interrogation despite feeling all the glares Lan Zhan nailed to his side.
"So Changming tell me how was your brother's behavior before you discovered he was missing" by now Changming's eyes were swollen from the excessive crying he was sitting side by side with Wei Wuxian on a low stool that was long enough to both accommodate them.
Lan Zhan was standing by the window of the house he was far from them unlike the other times he stood behind Wei Ying this time he stood far away from him because he didn't want to reap his husband apart from the boys embrace and carry his Wei Ying some where and fuck him hard out of jealousy, so his hands remained on Bichen squeezing it hilt and regaining his composure and tightening his restraint reciting all the Lan rules in his mind.
Sizhui and Haoyu were quiet listening to him speak and taking down notes as usual.
Lan Yi was by Wei Wuxian's side observing as he did with other previous interrogations only that now he was the one at Wei Wuxian side instead of Lan Zhan.
