Back in the jingshi Lan Zhan met Wei Ying chatting happily with Jiang cheng he was awake finally after straining him self battling the creatures they had reached cloud reccess in the night and Wei Ying went to sleep the whole night
and the whole day and only woke up in the evening
Jiang cheng bowed to Lan Zhan "Greetings Hanguang-Jun "
Lan Zhan bowed back with his hands together "greetings Jiang sect leader"
Wei Ying still felt the tension coming from the two of them
He knew that Jiang cheng since in his previous life had always respected his husband but disliked his cold expression and the fact that he could stand it and would always want to be with him and spend less time with Jiang cheng and Nie Huaisang. When Wei Ying had come back as Mo Xuanyu he was suprised that Lan Zhan was loyal to him when he wasn't and because Of Lan Zhan he had lost his brother to the Lan Sect when Wei Ying married him and Wei Ying knew that Jiang cheng was some what jealous of him and was worried about how Wei Ying would fit in the life of The GusuLan rules
Wow on the other hand his husband had a grudge on his brother for killing him and was still wary of him till these day not trusting him enough. He looked at Jiang Cheng like any moment he would bring out a sword and stabbed Wei Ying.
Till now the both of them hadn't moved past it Wei Ying only hoped they could resolve the tension now he had married Lan Zhan and was resolving his relationship with Jiang Cheng he needed them both, they were important to him.
Lan Zhan sat beside Wei Ying as he received a cup of tea and drank it looking at Jiang Cheng coldly
Wei Ying tried to make a conversation to lessen the tension
"How is sizhui and the others" Wei Ying asked holding his free hand under the table
"Alright" Lan Zhan answerd monotonously
"No fatal injuries?" Wei Ying asked still trying to get more information on their health
"They only need rest" Lan Zhan answered and rubbed Wei Ying's hand before removing his hand from his own
"That a relief I hope nothing complicated happens to them they had been with that Man for so long i will have to check them just to be sure I was to tired yesterday" Wei Ying said still feeling incredulous
"Mn" Lan Zhan responded
"I would break your legs Wei Ying one of these days you threw your self out the in danger why didn't you request for my help what if something happened to you" Jiang cheng spoke annoyed and worried
"Jiang cheng am alright I am okay and this has nothing to do with me being trying to be a hero and all and besides I had Lan Zhan with me what could have happened ?" Wei Ying spoke smiling from ear to ear while looking at his belove.
"He didn't do anything other than stand and watch you fight that what Zewu Jun told me so how did he help?" Jiang cheng voice was dripping acid his gaze on Lan Zhan hard.
"Jiang cheng" Wei Ying's expressions had turned serious
Lan Zhan was gripping his cup tightly looking at Jiang cheng their gazes locked on each other hard. Then he swallowed the tea and wanted to excuse himself.
Wei Ying decided not to entertain Jiang Cheng's words and faced Lan Zhan instead What did you tell Old Mr Lan and ZeWu-Jun.
"The truth" Lan Zhan spoke with a hint of annoyance his gaze stuck on Jiang Cheng
"Ayee my fuddy-duddy you can't give me all the credits you fought that guy alone all I did was stand the and talk" Wei Ying gave his husband a big smile and look at his brother telling him to shut up with his eyes hard on his brother
"But"-
"No but Lan Zhan" he faced his husband back smiling
Lan Zhan look like he wanted to say something but meeting Jiang Cheng eyes he held him self Back
"Mn" was all he ended up saying
"Nice Lan Zhan I still haven't forgotten your reward you know" he leant In closer to Lan Zhan aiming to kiss him
"Wei WuXian!" Jiang Cheng shouted his eyes wide looking at the couple
"What Jiang Cheng" his lips moving slowly to form a smirk
"You really have no shame can't you wait till I leave" Jiang Cheng rolled his eyes
"How about you leave now I really want to catch up with my husband" he rolled his eyes back at him and was fiddling with Lan Zhan's robes
Lan Zhan was trying hard to keep a straight face all the things Wei Ying said went straight to his brain interpreting arousal and want
"How about I don't leave" Jiang Cheng said challenging irritating his brother more.
"Then you watch as i show you the shameless side of Hanguang-Jun" Wei Ying hand's moved to untie his husband's robes Lan Zhan sat still like a statue
"Your utterly shameless Wei WuXian" Jiang cheng had his hands on his face
"Always have been" and as he was done talking he moved to kiss his husband but his husband didn't kiss him back not shameless enough to commit this intimate acts infront of his brother.
"Fine I am going will see you Tomorrow" Jiang Cheng gave up not being able to stand his brother's shamelessness.
"Yes and find your self a wife or a husband" Wei Ying Rose his eye brow teasingly.
"How do you know I haven't already found one" Jiang Cheng looked at him also raising one eye brow
Wei Ying looked at him speechless
And Jiang cheng smiled and left the jingshi returning to his quarters.
Happy to have made his brother speechless for once.
