Sizhui was excited to see his uncle again it had been to long but recently he realised he had missed the weird kid, his dad's nephew more. He was particularly more excited to see him than his uncle.
The old man and the Lan sect leader knew about the night hunts but they didn't know that Wen Ning along with two other people usually accompanied them.

He is the sect heir to the Baling Ouyang sect he is known as the Romantic young master because of the way he describes A-Qing in minute detail, including her fox-headed hairpin, and even compliments her as "bound to be lovely" after "some grooming" His description prompts Wei Wuxian to tease him for being the sentimental type.
Among his peers his the only one that knows a thing or two about relationships and Sizhui had a lot he would like to know from him just maybe in the future they would have a discussion about it.
Sizhui isn't so close to Ouyang Zizchen
As he is with Jin Ling but he considers the Romantic young master to be his friend. The Baling Ouyang sect heir was closer to Jingyi than the LanLing jin sect leader.
"Late as always Young mistress" Jingyi said with spite intending to mock him.
"Not now Jingyi please hold your tongue" Sizhui tried in vain to diffuse the incoming bickering between the two hot heads
"Is this what the Sect leader of the Lanling Jin Clan teaches the people he leads to be late when going on night hunts with other sects" Jingyi ignored Sizhui
"I am gonna break your legs one of this days and Sizhui won't stop me"
He held the hilt of Suihua (his sword's name) it looked like any moment he would draw it and strike Jingyi
