"I didn't hear you" he returned his gaze to the food.

He and Xichen had grown pretty close the last few months, Zewu-Jun had told him a lot of things trusting him to share in his pain yet here he was building more walls around him self.
He sighed as he thought was interrupted by Lan Xichen's voice
"The Lan conference is about to begin soon, it going to be chaotic depending on how it will go"
