In lotus pier two cultivators stood side by side discussing about the current matters that had arised in the cultivation world.
The man clothed in purple stared at the handsome man infront of him talking about the upcoming conference and how they should deal with the master mind who no one knew his identity till now.
He stared at the Elegant Man before him it wasn't clear if he listened to the words coming out of those perfect lips or if he was thinking on how he could be shameless like his brother.
It couldn't be so hard right just pull him in and and attach his lips to his own and maybe the man before him might kiss him back or maybe not.
The man didn't know if he wanted to find out if his feelings were requited and he was jostled out of his thoughts when he heard his name come out from this lips he was dieing to kiss.
"Jiang Wanyin are you hearing me?"
His eyebrows furrowed he didn't like that the man still called him so formally but anyway he answered composing his face to that of a formal one.
"Sect Leader Lan I am hearing you so this upcoming conference how we going to find out who Is behind all these is it wise to involve the sects?"
"We both know how it goes when this sects gather together They start to look for who is to blame since they are to lazy and righteous to do any work at all"
"Bunch of hypocrites they all are" Jiang cheng face clearly showed disgust and disdain
The man cloth in white with his fore hard ribbon sitting in place looked at the Yunmeng sect leader he smiled a little hearing the harsh words that came out of his mouth Jiang Wanyin still talked carelessly nothing changed
It wasn't known if the GusuLan clan knew that their sect leader was absent from Lotus pier but that was the farthest thing from Lan XiChen's mind now, he thought of the handsome before him and how they could capture the culprit that was disturbing the peace in the martial arts world.
"You don't have to worry Jiang cheng your brother won't come to any sort of harm if he isn't guilty" Lan XiChen said with a smile on his face
Jiang cheng froze from hearing the Sect leader call his name like that but more importantly he didn't like the fact that his brother was still on the suspect list.

Lan Zhan stood behind the two young men as they passed by stalls eating, staring at people sing and dance and they followed along dancing and smiling at each other while Lan Zhan had to pay the bills for each time they took something and walked away.
So far Chang ming had been telling Wei Wuxian about how his brother came back and treated him nicely and how their relationship is improving and more so his work is going well and he can earn money for him and his brother and it all thanks to Wei WuXian.
To show more of his gratitude Chang ming decided to treat Wei Ying to a couple of drinks since they had exhausted their energy dancing, playing games and doing so much activities as Chang ming showed Wei Wuxian places that he didn't know existed in Caiyi Town.
After so much much had they sat down at a local restaurant to enjoy different types of wine and Lan Zhan was at the edge of his patience today was supposed to be a solitude day for him and his beloved just the both of them spending time together but yet it seemed like His Wei Ying had forgotten that he had followed them quietly, paying for all their bills and frivolous activities.
He just couldn't stand it any longer Chang ming still refused to leave his husband even when Wei Ying told him that him and his husband had somewhere to go and instead brought up the topic of martial arts to distract his husband.
And his husband who was so easily distracted forgot that he was sitting the and Wei Ying happily engaged in the conversation explaining foots works, internal force, stance, defense, sword styles and various martial arts forms and Chang ming like a good student kept asking more questions.
Lan Zhan at some point wondered if he just walked out of this restaurant would his husband notice his disappearance.
It took a great deal of restraint to not pull chang ming by his robes and haul him outside and tell him to leave his husband alone and then carry his husband to their inn and fuck him senseless.
He imagined all this and thought won't it have been better if he was back at the Sect doing his duties as chief cultivator
The conference was coming soon and he wanted to spend as much time with His love as he could before they become very busy with duties yet chang ming ruined it all
It seemed like His fears were coming true looking at the way Wei Ying smiled and laughed with Chang ming he started to think it possible that his husband isn't really happy at Cloud reccess and maybe felt like a prisoner
He didn't have time to ponder on his thoughts more when he heard his name being called so sweetly by his beloved
"Lan Zhan"
"Are you alright" Wei Ying asked worriedly he had been calling his name and his husband who was always sharp as ever seemed lost in thought he was attentive to his surroundings
"Mn" he responded sharply clearly still drinking vinegar
Wei Ying must have noticed so the conversation with chang ming ended abruptly but Lan Zhan didn't notice that at all his thoughts thinking of all the places Chang ming's hand touched on his belove's body
"Wei wuxian I hope to see you soon" Chang ming smiled and reached his hands out to give Wei Ying a hug
Since when does he address him so casually Lan Zhan was seething with rage as he saw those hands wrap round his husband's small back
He started breathing in and out taking measures to control him self Wei Ying is his and his alone at least he still held on to that reality for now
"Good bye Hanguang-Jun see you very soon" Chang ming bowed and the look Lan Zhan saw was that of defiance he bowed with no atom of respect it looked like he merely did it to make him self look good infront of Wei Ying
The problem was if he told Wei Ying that Chang ming liked him Wei Ying would think he was exaggerating.
He restrained him self and nodded at him politely and headed back to the inn they were coming from he was painfully hard and angry and he wasn't sure he would be able to control him self if he was left alone with Wei Ying.
