Lan Zhan who had already showered was sitting in a lotus position across  their low table which had Wei Ying's favourite dishes on them.

Lan Zhan kept thinking about the recent events that had happened Wei Ying was indeed getting more furious than normal, his eyes glowing a faint red or maybe he was just seeing things, in his previous life his eyes would glow red in anger and rage but it was possible he was just being paranoid no Need to over exaggerate things the past is gone.

Then yet again the reasons his husband did get upset were valid. His husband didn't just understand the Lan sect he wasn't born and raised as a Lan.

Wei Ying had always told him to speak his mind and tell him what he wants or needs yet it was just hard breaking a life time of discipline, restraint and rules.

He couldn't even talk to his beloved because he won't understand. He wasn't a Lan so how was he expected to understand and it was eating Lan Zhan up inside he knew Wei Ying would come in angry and he didn't know how to make him understand the way of the Lan sect.

Sizhui is a Lan he was brought up as one it not like Lan Zhan didn't care about him or love him it was in the rules to do so. he did love him because he saw him as a son so it hurt to see him being punished and yet again it was for his own good. His uncle always punished him when he did wrong it didn't mean his uncle didn't care.
He was just so surprised at Wei Ying’s outburst.

It wasn't the first time he saw Sizhui being punished so why did he react like that, it wasn't like the punishment would have led to his death and yes it wasn't Sizhui's fault, he wasn't the one that drew the flag wrong but he chose to take the punishment on himself that was his choice. Besides he had broken a lot of rules lately and he had been overlooking it because of his husband.

He needed to make sure that this won't happen again the Lan disciples had to train harder including him self they all  had to work on their mind so it won't be so vulnerable again, as Sizhui was his son he needed to show the perfect example for others to follow he needed to work on his restraint Wei Ying had influenced him to much to disregard the rules and he had to put a stop to that or else his uncle would have more points against his beloved.

Just when his train of thoughts had ended Wei Ying walked into the jingshi his black robes tied loosely around him going well with his deep blue and white inner robes he had on. His hair was divided into two horizontally some falling on his shoulders, the side of his face and some tied with the ribbon that Lan Yi got for him his Chenqing hung loosely by his waist he was staring daggers into his eyes.

One thing was also missing from his appearance the GusuLan fore head ribbon.

Lan Zhan braced him self and stood up to welcome him waiting for Wei Ying to begin scolding him to his suprise his husband walked to him and began silently eating his food.

Wait a minute silently Wei Ying was the opposite of silent if any thing Wei Ying was only silent when he was asleep. Lan Zhan worried more that his husband was internalising his anger and he didn't even know how to start the conversation with the atmosphere this tense plus for once he didn't want his husband obeying the rules. Why now would he want to eat and not talk especially when the was something to talk on.

Lan Zhan’s mind kept on formulating theories on what he should do and he barely even ate because of the number of thoughts that ran through his mind and when he tried to eat and look across the table the man sitting across him was almost done

He sat across him and not beside him. His husband's level of anger was high this was new to him.

They had finally eaten Wei Ying went to shower while Lan Zhan tried to tidy up and not over work his brain with thoughts.
