Wei Ying was feeding the rabbits looking at the ones that became parents and their children following their mother. They were so tiny and their fur was so white since they hadn't played around yet.
They where all white rabbits and Wei Ying was wearing a black robe and they all surrounded him as he fed them carrots his hair tied with the red ribbon Lan Yi gave him his fore head ribbon missing from his fore head
The doe hadn't built a nest yet for her babies that Wei Ying noticed he also heard that they were protective of their children so he decided to test the theory out.
He grabbed one of the baby rabbits to look at them but the mother bit his finger hard causing him to scream in pain it hurt so bad.
Wei Ying wanted to make her his next meal so he grabbed her by her neck the rabbit was squirming trying to get out of the tight grip yet Wei Ying Didn't drop her he just kept looking at her fury written all over his eyes his index finger still burning from the teeth that was sunk in by the rabbit.
As he kept feeling the pain his anger towards the rabbit increased as she attempted to bite and scratch her way out of his grip he used the hand that was hurting to grip her legs.
All the other rabbits had ran away from him seeing one of their own being held like that they had gone hiding the children looking at their mother's life being taken away from her slowly.
His gaze fixated on the rabbit was hard his eyes slowly going red until the rabbits had all run into another direction hiding behind the Man who had just come that was dressed in white.
"Wei Ying" and suddenly like he was out of a spell he dropped the rabbit and she ran to her children and they they ran and stood behind Lan Zhan .
"What where you doing?"
"She bit me Lan Zhan I was just teaching her a lesson"
"You could have killed her"
"I won't have done so Lan Zhan I don't hurt animals"
"Your hand was on her neck" he said painfully remembering the site he met when he went looking for his husband only to see him squeezing the air out of the rabbit as he saw his eye going red.
"I don't know Lan Zhan I was just so angry they don't like me they always run to you when you come"
"Wei Ying"
"I know Lan Zhan but I won't have killed her she just bit me it so painful"
Lan Zhan looked at him like the explanation he gave wasn't justifying his actions
The finger prints on his neck weren't visible, if you looked closely you could see it faintly. Wei Ying rubbed his neck looking at Lan Zhan one last time he mouthed "sorry" and walked away
"Wei Ying!"
"I will back Lan Zhan he said before walking to the outskirts of Cloud Reccess."
Wen Ning's hut was calm and quiet located at the mountains he had built it himself after learning from one of the Men in Caiyi Town who was a builder
He was currently outside planting radish and when he saw Wei Ying he ran and washed his hands and bowed to him
"Master Wei what brings you here" he looked happy his pale face seemed to be glowing at the site of Wei Ying his cracked lips formed a smile
"Wei Ning can't I come here or do I need permission to see you" his smile was wide and unrestrained
"No Master Wei it just that-- " he tried to explain but was cut off
"Your my friend Wei Ning and I came to see you I owe you and apology" his face had gone serious.
"Master Wei no need to apologise"
"I have to I am sorry I treated you that way when we were fighting the Heavenly maiden I shouldn't have controlled you your not just a fierce corpse to me"
"Master Wei--"
"I lost my temper Wei Ning I don't understand why I was so angry but I am sorry" his eyes were on the ground the corners of his mouth forming a frown"
"It okay Master Wei" Wen Ning smiled and Wei Ying smiled back in return and He entered the hut to drink tea.
"Where is Hanguang-Jun?" Wen Ning busied him self with making the tea while he asked the question
"I don't know I don't wanna talk about that now"
Wen Ning noticed the sad expressions he had on and decided not to push instead they spoke about themselves and how much they missed each other and how Wei Ying hates the fact that he can't come to cloud reccess because of Old Master lan and how he was going to take Wen Ning shopping soon.
When the two friends where done discussing they parted ways with the knowing that they will see each other in caiyi Town soon.
As Wei Ying skipped happily back to the gates of Cloud reccess he remembered He had to talk to ZeWu-Jun about the junior disciples and he had a lot to discuss with his brother and plus he needed to talk to Sizhui the boy didn't seem alright at all so he walked to the hall in hopes of catching ZeWu-Jun before Old Mr lan sees him first as he neared the hall he heard the sound of sticks hittingsomething his heart rate quickened what could the sticks be hitting.
Cloud reccess had the no noise rule except someone was being punished then you would hear the sounds of the discipline rulers and the whips hitting the person that was the only time noises could be heard in cloud reccess.
As he neared, quickening his footsteps he saw 2 disciples taking turns heating a disciple who was on his knees his first thought was let it not be Lan Zhan what could his belove husband have done
But when he looked around he saw Master lan and Lan Zhan standing together Zewu Jun on the other side and a disciple kneeling on the floor
So if the disciple wasn't Lan Zhan who could be the unfortunate person and when be walked closer he recognised the person's small frame, the familiar long hair, the fair skin agghis back crossed with the rulers that landed on his back. His skin the painfully red from the rulers.
His heart was beating faster and he broke the No running rule and the no shouting rule
"Sizhui" he screamed as tears fell from his eyes ''stop heating him" he continued his gaze turning to Lan Zhan looking at him with rage and holding the rulers he threw them away.
The tension In the air rising as Master Lan Ordered them to continue beating him without glancing once at Wei Ying
