/ HALF STILL IN LENNOX'S FLASHBACK

I woke up in the backseat of moving vehicle.

"NATE, WE'VE BEEN KIDNAPPED!" I sobbed, shaking him into consciousness.

"Lennox, chill! You're okay." A familiar voice in the driver's seat consoled.

"Ryder?" I asked, poking my head through the driver and passenger seats and squinted hard. Things were still a blur.

"In the flesh!"

Nate groaned in the backseat. "I have to throw up."

"That would be the first symptom of excessive alcohol consumption." Ryder laughed, lowering the music.

"Ryder, uh, how'd you find us exactly?" I wondered out loud.

"Well, I'll keep things short; Ramona told me I had to pick you guys up from the dance, and low and behold, both of you were no where to be found. She makes me track your phones down- and let me say, thank god she did- you were forty minutes away at some wannabe rave."

I blinked. "We were where?"

"Don't even know. A club? All that matters is you're not there anymore!" He laughed.

"Stop the car! STOP THE CAR!" Nate panicked and rolled his window down. Fortunately, Ryder pulled up alongside the road and abruptly came to a stop. Nate ran out and puked. Three times, to be exact.

"You gonna check on him?"

"Do I have much of a choice?" I laughed, getting out as well. "Nate, Nate, you okay? C'mon, let's get back inside the car." He nodded and followed me back inside.

"Ryder, I know you've pretty much rescued us tonight but-"

"You're worried about him. It's okay, he'll be okay. Next diner we see we can stop for coffee and stuff. It'll wake him up." He smiled at me from the rear view mirror.

BACK TO PRESENT TIME

"Lennox? What are you waiting for?" Nate asked, holding open the door.

"Oh-"

"I'm sorry, but who are you?" A woman standing in front of us asked. "You new? Have you taken off your-"

"We actually don't even go here." Nate blurted out. I immediately elbowed his side.

"In that case, I'm afraid I'll have to ask you to sit out here and wait for your uh..."

"My brother and his sister." I frowned slightly.

"Right." She sighed. "Why don't you guys head down to the cafeteria and get something nice? Or even the gift shop, you know, cards always make someone feel better!" She grinned, pointing to the elevator. "First floor." She then rushed in a few more people and closed each door.

"I was really excited too." I laughed as Nate and I made our way to the elevator.

"How did Wes and Ramona even get in?" Nate asked aloud while pushing some buttons.

"How'd we not?"
