We went into a cafe near the atelier and sat down inside on of those table that has couches. Matthew ordered a cappuccino and he looked so laid back as if we have all the time of life.
"And you?" He asked.
"No thanks. And please make it brief, Mat-" I was cut off when someone pushed me further on the couch and sat next to me resting his arms on the table and intertwining his fingers.
"Yes, Let's make it brief, Matt." Justin said, getting comfortable sitting next to me.
"Who is this?" Matthew asked looking at me and totally ignoring Justin as a whole.
"I am her boyfriend." Justin said easily cocking an eyebrow and looking at Matthew in a challenging manner. Matthew furrowed his eyebrows at Justin's statement then again ignored Justin and looked at me questioningly looking more pissed now.
"No you are not!" I said looking at him confused. "This is Justin. A friend." I clarified and sent Justin a death glare. He crossed his arms looking the other way and rested his back at the couch. Great! Now he is sulking!
Matthew looked at me waiting for me to say something. "He is here. There is no way around it now." I said. It is true. Justin won't leave not even if I told him to do so. It is just like that. This is how Justin is. If he decided to do something he will do it and weirdly will stick around till you agree to him. And it wasn't like I wanted him to leave anyway. In fact, I want him to stay.
Matthew grew even angrier and he started to lose his calm nature. It was pretty rare to see Matthew like this. Justin's presence alone was enough to get on his nerves.
"Let me explain what happened back in the party" Matthew said taking a deep breath and returning to his annoying calm nature.
"I don't want to hear it. You can go all over girls Matthew for all I care." I said laughing scoffingly. I can't believe he still sees this as the only reason for me to leave. What about everything else? His constant absence and the dull life we had?
"Don't talk like that, Celine. It makes me feel like we are over." He said in a dramatic way. His act was sickening and I felt like throwing up at his own words. It really started to get on my nerves now and I just can't take it. I really want to punch him in the face. Numerous times till he won't be able to smile in this silly and provoking way ever again.
If only he know how much anger and hate I hold for him. If only he knows how regretful he made me feel. I want all my feeling back! I want all my memories and all my time that I gave to him! I want them all back. Those things I gave for nothing. It is making me angry.
"Are you retarded? What part of you should leave you just can't understand?" Justin said in a quiet intimidating tone. "I just hate people like you. They are really provoking and they make me go off control." He continued. I looked at Justin's face and he had such an unpleasing expression. If I were to be talke to like that I would better run, but Matthew just can't read it because he is an idiot like that. For some reason Justin grew angry and I could tell he was about to snap.
I don't want to make a scene and above all I want to end this. This is about me.
"I am not ready to give up on you just yet" Matthew said fisting his hands and his tone got higher. I felt Justin getting stiffer next to me but he kept on having an expressionless face.
"Matthew! This is not about you! okay? It is not about what you want and when you want it. I don't care if you didn't give up on me just yet, but I did. I gave up on you. So long ago actually. You can go ahead and take your time to move on, but please don't show around me anymore. You will not have a better meeting than this. Goodbye, I wish you well." I said then stood up declaring that I am leaving. Matthew looked taken aback by what I said. I grabbed Justin's hand "Let's go." I said then moved away.
