Jeongyeon waited for Mina in front of the hospital she was working. She needs to talk to her.

"Mina" Jeongyeon called as soon as she saw Mina come out.

Gulat namang napatingin sa kanya ang babae.

"Jeongyeon? What are you doing here?" Mina tried her best to compose herself.

"Can we talk?" Jeongyeon asked in a serious tone.

Sumama naman si Mina sa babae. Dahil dala nya din ang sasakyan nya ay nag-convoy na lamang sila. Sinundan nya si Jeongyeon at nakarating sila sa isang park hindi kalayuan sa ospital. Jeongyeon brought coffee for the two of them.

"Why?" Jeongyeon suddenly asked, holding her cup of iced americano.

Napalingon naman si Mina sakanya na katabi nya. Nakaupo sila sa magkabilang dulo ng mahabang upuan.

"The house Mina. I sold it a long time ago. Why are you there?" Tanong ulit ni Jeongyeon kaya napaawang ang bibig ni Mina.

Hindi na nagsinungaling pa si Mina at sinabi ang totoo kay Jeongyeon na binili nya ang bahay sa pinagbentahan ni Jeongyeon. Mina even tried to buy back the house in a doubled price.

"That house is full of our memories Jeongyeon, I couldn't let that go" Mina whispered but enough for Jeongyeon to hear.

Jeongyeon bitterly chuckled.

"You couldn't let go of a house but you let go of me? How funny Mina" Jeongyeon spoke in full sarcasm.

"I still love you Jeongyeon" Mina told Jeongyeon.

"I know I did a lot of things to hurt you before, but believe me.. I love you" Mina's voice cracked.

"I know it's late but I'm sorry Jeong. I'm sorry for everything.. for what my family has caused you. I don't have enough courage to fight for us. I'm afraid that every time you'll see me, you'll just remember what my dad has done to your family.. to Uncle" Mina told Jeongyeon

Mariing napapikit si Jeongyeon dahil sa sakit at galit na nararamdaman. Alam nya ang sinasabi ni Mina. Nalaman nya ang lahat ng magsalita ang sekretarya ni Dan-tae na nahuli ng mga pulis. Nalaman nyang sangkot ang ama ni Mina sa mga nangyari.

"I already forgive you Mina. Your father's crime was not yours or your brother's. All I wanted is or you to fight for us because I will. I'm ready to risk it all but you made me leave. You abandoned me when I needed you the most" Jeongyeon spoke with so much hate.

Gulat na napatingin sakanya si Mina. Hindi nito alam na alam ni Jeongyeon ang lahat.

"I already made your father pay. Your business line, I was the one who made that go down. I was the one who made your business crumble to pieces. I learned that you also tried to report your father's crimes" Jeongyeon continued.

The Myoi's business became bankrupt all of a sudden, but Mina didn't know that Jeongyeon was behind all of that. She reported her father's crimes but before the police caught her father, he committed suicide.

Ilang minuto silang napuno ng katahimikan, parehas na nagpapababa ng matinding nararamdaman

"Jeongyeon, I love you. I still love you" Mina broke the silence.

"I've tried my best to build myself again to find you. To bring you back" Mina continued as she looked at Jeongyeon.

"Am I selfish to say that I wanted you back? I wanted us back together" Mina cried.

"I wanted you back, I want you to choose me again, just like before" Mina continued in tears.

Ilang segundo bago sumagot si Jeongyeon.

"I love you. I still love you" Jeongyeon confessed.

It made Mina happy for a brief second because Jeongyeon's next words killed her hopes.

"It's useless for me to lie because Nayeon knows everything. She knows me very well and I didn't hide anything from her. I'm like an open book to her that she can read anytime. I still love you Mina, but I'm not choosing you. I'm choosing Nayeon. Because Nayeon deserves every inch of me. I know, I'm still fucked up with the thought of loving you... But I finally decided to move forward and let go. This is the last time that I'll tell you I love you Mina. I wasn't able to tell you this in the past. This will serve as my closure. I'm already sealing the path that will lead me again to you because I'm taking the path that will finally lead me to Nayeon" Jeongyeon continued.

Mina wanted Jeongyeon to stop her words but she couldn't tell her to just stop.

"I learned that love is a commitment Mina, that it's not just about feelings. I also love Nayeon.. hindi man gaya ng pagmamahal ko sayo but I'm ready to be committed to her. I'm very much ready to give her and Yeonwo my sole commitment. Nayeon taught me those things. She made me realize those things Mina" Jeongyeon looked at her. Jeongyeon's eyes glitter upon mentioning Nayeon and Yeonwo but it made Mina's heartbreak.

"I hated you before, to the point that I almost wished that we never met.. that I never met you. I was so broken but Nayeon fixed me. She chose me every time and that's what I'm doing now. I'll choose her over and over again with Yeonwo. I'm sorry Mina" Jeongyeon let a small smile.

"I'm also thankful to you, because of what you did, I realized so many things in life. Our chapter has already ended Mina. I wish you happiness in life. I'm always rooting for that. Thank you for loving me Mina" Jeongyeon rose from her seat.

Hindi na nagawang makasagot ni Mina dahil naiyak nalang sya sa kinauupuan nya habang pinapanood ang mahal nya papalayo sakanya.

"Mag-iingat kayo ha? Tawagan nyo kami pag nandun na kayo. Susunod din kami ng daddy nyo after matapos nung business summit" Mrs. Im reminded her daughter.

"Jeongyeon ikaw na bahala sakanila ha" Mr. Im told Jeongyeon who just nods at him.

Hindi na nakasama ang mga kaibigan nila dahil nasa ibang mga bansa din ang mga ito at busy sa mga negosyo at trabaho kaya't via video call nalang sila nag-usap usap at nagplano na bisitahin sila Nayeon sa US pag hindi na busy ang mga schedule nila.

"I will dad, mag-ingat din po kayo dito" Jeongyeon answered as she pushes the baggage cart.

They waved goodbye at each other. Nayeon held Yeonwo in her arms while Jeongyeon is just behind them.

Jeongyeon briefly stopped on her track as she looked outside. Ganito din sya noon matapos ang break up nila ni Mina at mauulit ulit ngayon.

She's leaving again, but with a contented heart this time, without any regrets.
