It was night time when I climbed out of the pit. I saw a skeleton riding a spider patrolling around the front of the hut. "Dang it spider jockey. Move it," I said quietly. Nope he saw me. Crap I hate these types of mobs. I dodged the arrow, but I took the spider's bite in my side. There goes two hearts. I stabbed the spider in the head and it died and dropped a spider eye and some more experience orbs. This short amount of time though allowed the skeleton to shoot another arrow into my left arm. Now with the spider gone, the skeleton began to move. I ducked and spun to the side of the skeleton dodging the next arrow. Getting to its side I spun and back stabbed it in the head killing it. It dropped more exp. orbs, some bones, arrows, and a damaged bow. I quietly opened the door to find Steve and Josh sitting by the furnace eating steak.

"Took you long enough," Josh said as he looked at a book full of crafting recipes.

"Yeah. It's been about three days. Steak?" Steve asked holding out a piece of steak to me.

"Yes please. I need to regenerate. Stupid spider jockey was in front of the house," I said sitting down next to them grabbing the steak. I noticed a large chest in the corner. By the looks of it, it was made recently.

"What did you find?" Josh asked looking up from his book.

"Here it is," I answered showing them my inventory.

"Three stacks of coal, iron ore, and five stacks of cobblestone?!" They both exclaimed surprised. They had the funniest of looks on their faces.

"I would have gotten more, but I ran out of wood. Also, I broke all of my gear," I said through a mouthful of steak. Their astonishment was the best part of the entire day.

Josh was the first one to speak. "Well I guess we have a lot of resources. There is a lot of recipes that call for iron so it's not all bad."

Steve spoke right where Josh left off. "Does this mean we finally get protection?"

Josh answered, "You mean armor?"

Steve shot back, "Yeah, protection."

Josh gave up with a, "Never mind."

Finishing another piece of steak I began to heal. I stood up and asked Steve, "Hey where did you put all the leather?"

He answered, "In the chest. Why?"

I had a pretty good idea what I could use the iron and leather for. An hour or so later of smelting and crafting I had made us some personal armor.

"Dude this stuff is sweet." Steve exclaimed.

Josh was brimming with new ideas. "Ok. I am going to have to look into this a little more," He said excitedly.

I agreed. "Good, but first we need to up our supplies. Also, we are going to need a better house than this little hut. We have a big day ahead tomorrow. Over the next couple of days we found more resources than we could handle. We all ventured into the ravine and found an abandoned mineshaft. Before we went to explore it however, we decided to build ourselves a bigger house.
