Training

Steve's POV

Once we finally got back home, Mike suggested that we rest and then go out and start training. When I asked him, "Training for what?"

He simply replied, "Killing a dragon." I didn't question Mike. He looked pretty tired to me.

"What are you going to do?" Cupa asked me happily.

"I guess I can practice with my bow. We could also work on strengthening our bodies," I said scratching my head.

"Can I train too?" I heard Jeff ask behind me.

"Yeah sure. We could use an extra person," I said stretching out my arms. I saw him shoot the other day and he seemed pretty good.

A couple hours later we were laying on the ground breathing heavily. "You're a pretty good shot," I said looking at Jeff. "You too," I said turning to Cupa. "I'm going to my room for a second to get changed," I said standing up.

Right when I was about done changing, I heard a knock on the door. "Yeah?" I asked walking to the door. When I opened up the door, I was surprised to see Cupa standing there fidgeting. "What do y-" I was cut off as a box of cookies was shoved in my face.

"Umm...... Here. I made you some cookies," she said shyly.

"Really?!" I asked excitedly. "Thanks a bunch!" I exclaimed taking the cookies from here and shoving them in my face. My eyes widened. "These are amazing!" I said gratefully. She seemed really pleased with my response. Why was that? "Hey, let's go for a walk," I said grabbing her hand and pulling her out the door.

It was nice and cool outside. The sun was setting and it looked amazing. "Hey Steve," I heard Cupa say behind me. When I turned around to answer her, she caught me off guard with a kiss. For a couple seconds I froze, before I leaned into her kiss.

When I pulled back though I was curious. "Why?"

She smiled back at me, "Because I love you silly."
