The Black Market Dealer

Josh pulled off the bag that was covering the stalkers head and began the interrogation, "Why were you following us? How did you find us? Did you burn our house down?" Josh asked peppering the captive with questions. The person under the bag was a girl. She was about a year younger than us and had short brown hair with brown eyes. She looked like she had been living on the streets and had seen some hard times. "Hi. My name is Ashley." She said.

I was a little stunned, but I didn't tell Josh to stop with his interrogation. She started to happily give us her information, "I'm a black market dealer. I found you guys because of my sources telling me about the Explodes next target. I figured I would come and check out the scene, but you guys showed up, so I decided to sit back and watch. You did well in capturing me."

Well that answers my questions. "So can you help us?" It was the first time I had spoken since we entered the room.

She gave me a sly grin. "Yes, if you're going to get revenge on the Exploders. I can provide you with gear and information," she said with a bargaining tone.

"We're in." I said stepping forward.

She got a wicked smile and answered, "Untie me and I will show you what I have."

An hour later we were decked out in a diamond chestplates with un-breaking V, explosion protection V, projectile protection V, fire protection V, and thorns V. After receiving the armor I added my previous upgrades to the new gear. Josh received my iron sword and a diamond shield upgraded by me. Steve received a bow crafted by me using wood, iron, diamonds, and leather. Ashley then enchanted the bow with infinity, explosive arrows, and flaming arrows. I received another diamond sword and enchanted them with un-breaking V, sharpness V, looting V, and fire aspect.

"That should be about it," she said stretching her muscles and scanning her inventory.

"Thanks. So what are you wanting in compensation?" I asked dreading her answer.

She smiled. She was waiting for this moment. "Half the loot, "she said smugly.
