After a long winded discussion about the town between Josh and Kennadi, we headed out to see the rest of the town. Right as we left the library, someone came running out after us and asked, "Are you the trio Mike, Josh, and Steve? The ones who destroyed the griefing clan, the Exploders?" He said that rather loudly and everyone near us turned to look.

"Yeah we did. They deserved it for destroying our house," I said without hesitation.

He smiled and started speaking again, "I knew it. You're the duel wielding reaper, Mike, the unmovable tank, Josh, and the deadly archer, Steve."

I heard the crowd gasp and start murmuring things to each other. "Are we that well known?" I asked the stranger.

"Really? You guys have no idea how famous you are. You took down one of the strongest and most dangerous problems this region has had to deal with. You guys are heroes," the stranger explained excitedly.

I could see the people around us start calling to others in the area and telling them what was happening over here. "We just did what anyone would have done if they had their house destroyed in such a manner," Josh said in his usual smart person tone.

Before I could respond to the stranger's words an official looking villager appeared in front of us from out in the crowd. "Are you the heroes who stopped the Exploders?" This villager asked.

"Yes," I answered not sure where this was heading.

"Oh! Thank you so much. That nasty clan has been causing so much trouble for our town of Napal. They stole our emeralds, livestock, and even destroyed parts of our town. Now that they're gone we can finally rest in peace!" The old guy exclaimed.

"So, who are you?" Steve asked picking his nose.

"I am the mayor of this town, Jude. I welcome you to come to our town anytime you need anything. We are in your debt," Jude answered.

"Don't worry about it. Just call us anytime you need help, alright?" I asked him.

"Fret not. We have a system of message birds that can deliver messages whenever we are in times of need," the mayor answered my question.

With that we left the town and headed back towards our house. We were surprised to hear that we were called heroes. We hadn't done anything to deserve that title.
