Aftermath

The silence after the explosions was almost the most peaceful thing I have ever heard. Sitting in that bunker silently we waited a couple minutes to let the sun come up. When the sun finally broke the horizon, I slowly climbed out of the bunker. I was fighting exhaustion and I knew it was the same for everyone else. Where the great and powerful griefing clan's base once stood, was nothing but a giant hole in the ground full of debris and loot items.

"Well, I guess that means we won," I said as I offered my hand to my comrades still in the bunker. When I pulled Josh out, he still seemed a little sad about his shield breaking. He kept mumbling to himself about it. "Don't worry. I can make you a new one," I said patting him on the back. Steve then handed me the dog from down in the bunker. I then grabbed his hand and pulled him up.

"Holy crap. That's a big hole. TNT is awesome," Steve said grinning.

"You guys take a break. I'll go pick up any loot that might be left," I said as I started to sift through the debris of the destroyed base.

Going through all this debris and loot took almost the rest of the day. When my inventory was about to max-out, I found a nametag and an ink sac. My dog walked up to me and wagged its tail.

"How's it going boy?" I said scratching his head. I looked down at the nametag and ink sac in my hands. I dyed his collar black and placed the name tag on it. "Your new name is going to be Willford Warfstache," I said with a sly grin.

The sun was getting pretty low in the sky by now and I figured it was time to head back. "Alright, we should probably head back to the safe room. There's still someone tied up there," I said starting to walk back to the safe room. Steve and Josh got up and followed me.

Steve started to sing, "We are the champions."

I smiled and joined in, "And we'll keep on fighting tell the end."

Josh sighed. "Ok, whatever. We are the champions, my friend." We all sang in a chorus of voices walking off into the sunset.
