Minecraft Adventure

Fort: Part 2

When we woke up I grabbed some food and supplies, called Willford, and headed out to build another wall. Now that I've got the hang of how to build the walls and towers, I will be able to finish quicker. "Well, time to get started," I said to myself placing down the first cobblestone wall to start the next wall.

Around noon I stopped for lunch. I took a seat up in one of the watchtowers to eat lunch. I noticed Steve finishing up his farm in the distance. He even built a storage shed for food and other necessities used to farm. He went and took a break for lunch. I watched Josh finishing up the exterior of the main building.

I finished my food and said, "Can't let them out-build me. Time to get back to work."

I finished the second wall a little early and I decided to head back to the house. On my way back with Willford, I got a better view of the structure. Since Steve got done with his farm he was able to help Josh with the small things he had left to do in the house. He built a balcony off of the second floor with fences going around the edges on the balcony and four blocks from the house on the ground. A pillar in the middle of the building ran ladders up to each floor. We ate dinner quickly and went to bed so we could get an early start the next day.

The next two days went by in a pattern for me. Going out with Willford to build a wall and coming back to eat and sleep. Steve built eight individual stables for cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, horses, wolves, ocelots, and donkeys. He then built a storage building next to the stables to hold their food and other necessities. After that he placed gravel pathways throughout the fort.

Josh furnished the entire inside of the house with carpet, paintings, and other decorations. The first floor contained a kitchen, anvils, crafting tables, and a couple brewing stands along with all of the ingredients necessary to make potions. The second floor was a library containing a couple music boxes, enchantment tables, and a lot of bookcases. The third floor was our sleeping area. Our rooms had beds, personal chests, and anything else we wanted. The roof above us was a lookout point. We finished all this in four days.
