Siege of Napal

Mike's POV

*Poof* I was in the middle of the city like I planned. Huh? There is a girl in front of me on the ground with the look of someone who has given up. I grinned trying to cheer her up. "Don't give up yet. The fight's only beginning," I said. Ok. That sounded a little cheesy, but I don't care. I'm about to fight a war. I turned towards an oncoming zombie horde and smiled, "Here we go again!"

I lunged forward and went to work. This is going to be different than before. There are far too many enemies to go in randomly. Alright, I think I got this. I came to a sudden stop at the edge of the advancing horde and put a huge thrust with my right sword into the center of the group of zombies. This pushed a hole into the group to which I rushed in a jumped into the air. I brought my swords down on the zombies nearest to me when I landed killing four. They started to fill the hole I was standing in back up with zombies so I spun on my heels with my swords outstretched and decapitated the ones closet to me. I then blitzed my way back out of the group and stopped at the edge abruptly and took a wide arcing slash into the zombies coming at me from the edge.

I saw a lot of explosive arrows flying in towards the oncoming horde. I knew instantly what I needed to do. I sheathed my swords and ran back to the girl still lying there on the ground watching me fight. I picked her up as another *Poof* sounded behind me. I didn't even have to look to know it was Josh and his big shield blocking the blast of all the arrows going off as they hit their target.

I ran to the shelter in the middle of the city and set her on the ground as Steve and Josh got to my side. I saw some of the people in the shelter giving the girl dirty looks full of hatred. "If you have a problem with her being here then I will let this city be destroyed by the mobs," I said angrily to the ones giving her looks. They all looked at me in terror. "Good. Now I need anyone who can fight to step up we need your help," I said as a couple of people in the crowd stood up. I continued, "Archers go with Steve and get on top of this shelter and stop the advance of the spider jockeys. Anyone else go with Josh and hold the zombies back till the morning when the sun comes up."

One man in the crowd stood up and asked in a hateful tone looking at the endergirl I had brought in, "What are we going to do about the army of endermen coming down the main path? They're a lot stronger and more problematic than the other mobs."

I looked him straight in the face and answered without hesitation, "I'll take them on." I walked out of the shelter and smiled at her before I walked towards the terrifying teleporting creatures rapidly advancing in my direction. "Bring it," I said pulling out my enderpearls.
