Pihu with an amused smile was looking at small ahaan. Sameer, shrishti, Arjun Sherlyn and karan preeta were settled on the bed.

Shrishti glanced at sameer who was slightly shaking. Sameer glanced at her and slowly their hands entwined. Both looked at karan and sighed.

Karan- kya bol raha hai tu
Shrishti- you are adopted...ap is ghar ke bete nahi ho...ap mein luthras ka koi khoon nahi hai...
Karan looked at both of them in shock. Even Sherlyn Arjun and preeta had their eyes wide open with their mouth agape. Karan slowly looked at pihu who has stopped plying to look at them.
Karan- pihu...ap jake Sameer chachu ke room mein khelo...aur suno door lock kar dena...jab tak hum che mein se koi na jaye door mat kholna okay...even apke liye snacks bhi hai waha
Pihu curtly nodded in yes. She picked up ahaan and while cooing him went out of the room. Arjun quickly went and locked the door. By now karan had his body stiff and numb. His shoulders sloop down. Preeta slided her hands in to his and held them securely.
Sherlyn- yeh sab yeh sab tum dono ko kaise pata....

Sameer wrapped his arms around her and shrishti buried her face in his chest crying hardly. She clutched his shirt and he closed his eyes letting tears fall down.
Just he they heard sound from the room in front of them. It was rishab's room.
Sameer- yeh rishab bhaiya ke kamre kon hai

They slowly went to the window and slightly opened it looking inside. Their eyes opened like saucer as they saw rishab siting on the chair comfortably with a glass of wine while other two people who were piyush and avantika were laughing

Sameer and shrishti were numb hearing all this. Sameer's legs wobbled as he turned with his face streaming with tears. Shrishti pulled him to a room.

Karan was a crying mess by then. Preeta had her hands wrapped around him while he cried like a baby in her embrace. Arjun rubbed his back, his heart pinched seeing his brother like person crying like this.
A hand placed on Arjun's hand and he looked to find Sherlyn giving a nod. Shrishti and sameer were too crying a lot.
Shrishti- fir jab unhe pata chala ki mujhe sab pata hai...he killed mamma, beeji and janki aunty un hone toh Mahesh papa ko bhi nahi choda...

He was hiccupping a lot and was having difficulty in talking and breathing. Arjun immediately searched for his pockets and brought an inhaler and was about to give to karan when preeta stopped him and nodded in no.
Preeta- karan...karan look at me...
Karan looked at her. She cupped his face and looked into his eyes.

Karan calmed down a little. Preeta sighed and their heads joined. Preeta too was broken. Her mother and her whole family was killed but her first priority was karan who was alive in front of her eyes. Shrishti looked at them adoration but sameer could notice something else in those eyes too.
Sherlyn leaned her head on Arjun's shoulder and his hands went round her body embracing her petite body tightly.
