Ara's POV
Kausap ko ngayon si Camille. Nagulat nga ako ng tanongin niya ako. Ano nga ba ang isasagot ko sa kaniya?
"My decision is..." Paguumpisa ko. Itutuloy ko na sana kaya lang....
"Ara, twin. Balik na daw kayo sa loob." Pagpuputol niya sa usapan namin at pumasok na ulit.
"Hay. Istorbo." Sabi ni Camille ng makaalis na yung kambal niya. I know she's frustrated. Kasi alam kong gustong gusto niyang malaman if I made the right choice or not.
"Hindi pa tayo tapos ah." Sabi niya at nauna na sa loob.
We were gathered here inside kasi may special announcement daw sina Van. Who knows? Mukhang nakabuo nanaman yung dalawa. HAHAHAHA
"Saan kayo galing?" Tanong sa akin ni Thomas at binack hug ako.
"Nagpahangin lang sa veranda. (Smile)"
"So bro. What's the big news?" Excited na tanong ni Jeron.
"We went to her OB last week." Sagot ni Van sa kaniya.
"OMG. She's pregnant?!" Excited na sigaw ni Mika.
"yes! (Smile) 3 weeks." Masayang sagot ni Cienne. Dahilan para mapuno ng kasiyahan tong rooftop. Yes. Cienne and Van are having their second child. Hopefully baby girl.
"Congrats BBF! I am very happy for you!" Masayang bati ko sa kaniya matapos ko siyang yakapin.
"thank you Ara."
"hoy! Mabuti pa simulan niyo na ang family planning. One year old palang si Lai may kapatid na agad! Kaloka!" Nanunuksong sabi ni Carol na nagpatawa sa aming lahat.
"i know. I know. (Laughs" sagot sa kaniya ni Cienne.
Pumunta muna ako sa may veranda ULIT para makapag isip isip. Am I making the right decision? Is this what I really need to do? Ang gusto ko lang naman maging masaya kami ni Thomas. Plus I want to marry him soon and have our own family just like our friends. So I really really have to fix this problem. How can I?
"May.. Problema ba?" Tanong sa akin ni Thomas na sumulpot ng parang kabute -_-
"Wala. Wala naman."
"Come on. Tell me. Something's bothering you, right?" Concerned na tanong niya.
"(Sigh) I am just happy for our friends. I mean, after years of struggles in College, here we are. Some are already married, the others are engaged, and us, we're getting stronger. I am just happy. And thinking about the future."
"What about the future?" Natatawang tanong niya sa akin.
"You know.. Someday it'll be us getting married. It'll be us running around while playing with our future kids. It's just nice to think about that." Sagot ko habang ini imagine ang future.
"You're right. One of these days, it'll be you walking through the altar. (Smile) someday. Just a little bit more." Sabi niya at hinug ako. Bigla naman dumating si Kib kasi start na daw ng drinking session nila kaya nagpaalam na muna si Thomas.
"Now. We could continue what we left earlier." Sabi ni Camille at tinabihan ako sa upuan. Okay. This is it.
"You promise me, you won't judge me for this." Paalala ko sa kaniya bago ako magsimula.
"I won't." Plain na sagot niya.
"Actually, I've decided not to tell him." Nagulat siya. At magsasalita na sana siya ng pigilan ko siya.
"Wait. Let me finish first, okay?" She nodded
"I want to leave with him as his wife. I know it may sound selfish but this is what I want. I want to keep this secret from him. Yes. He deserves to know but he has nothing to do with it anyway. Ano pa ang magagawa niya? His friend already died. His operation was successful and is already living healthy for two years! Our problem is solved so he doesn't need to know about this anymore. I'll just bury thus thing and forget it." Sagot ko dahilan para mapabuntong hininga ang kaibigan ko.
"When we were in Korea, we were happy. That's where I based my decision. I don't want him to get hurt anymore, and to prevent that, I am keeping this secret from him and stay happy." Dagdag ko pa.
"Are you serious right now?!" Galit na sigaw sa akin ni Camille.
"Yes. And that's final Cams. No one can change that fact." Matigas na sagot ko.
"Ang tigas ng ulo mo Ara! Sinabi ko sayo diba, NEVER KEEP A SECRET FROM HIM! Pero wala eh. MATIGAS TALAGA YANG ULO MO! Bahala ka! Bahala ka sa buhay mo." Kinalma niya ang sarili niya bago magsalita ulit.
"I warned you. Don't cry and go to me when something wrong happens." Banta niya sa akin.
Well I guess, from now on, I lost a very good adviser. Pero it still cant change my decision. My words will be words.
