"Hey, either of you want vodka with a side of blonde soccer chick?" Rebekah asked from upstairs.
"I- uh, no thanks?" Hayley said. Keira laughed. Suddenly, Hayley yelped in pain, before grabbing her neck.
"What the hell was that?" Rebekah asked, running down the stairs and Keira got up.
"Hell if I know. It felt like I was being stabbed," Hayley replied. Keira moved Hayley's hand and examined the wound, which looked as if someone had pricked her neck with a needle of some kind.
"I'm pretty sure that wasn't something Sophie Deveraux did accidentally," Keira said. "Call Nik."
"What?" Nik asked, his usual annoyed greeting.
"Check on Sophie Deveraux," Rebekah replied, before hanging up. "Alright, I'm getting food. You want pizza or Chinese food?"
"Is that even a question?" Hayley asked. "Pizza."
When Rebekah came back with pizza and a pizza delivery man for dessert, Hayley had moved to the armchair while Keira sucked on a blood bag.
"Oh thank god, this thing is old," she said.
"Time for the demon spawn to snack!" Rebekah said, handing pizza to Hayley.
"I really wish you wouldn't call her that," Hayley laughed.
"Oh, sorry, have you picked another name yet?" Rebekah held out an apple to Hayley as well, who put the pizza down. "Take one, the plantation's lousy with them."
"I feel fine... which is weird. I'm sure it's Sophie-related," Hayley said, holding the apple up.
"Then, do me a favor, and don't die on my watch. I'll never hear the end of it," Rebekah said.
"You know, when I first met you, I thought you were a real bitch," Hayley replied.
Hayley laughed. "Oh, I still think you're a bitch! I've just grown to like that about you!"
"Aw, well, that's sweet of you to say," Rebekah said, laughed slightly. "Remember it when I'm gone."
Hayley looked confused. "Gone? Where are you going?"
"I only came to town to make sure everything was okay with Elijah. He's fine, and he hasn't punished Klaus for daggering him, so... as usual, they'll be thick as thieves, and I'll be left to clean up the mess. It's time for me to fly the coop."
"Oh..." Hayley was about to eat her apple, but suddenly looked tired.
"What's wrong?" Keira asked."I dunno, probably morning sickness..."
Keira put a hand on Hayley's forehead. "Actually, you're burning up. A lot. Bex, get her in bed and give her a cool compress or whatever it's called, I'm calling Elijah."
While Rebekah and Hayley went upstairs, Elijah appeared to be very busy.
"Sister," he said, finally picking up. "Attempting to blow up my phone will not make me answer any phone."
"I left you like, thirty voicemails!" Keira replied.
"Most people would take that as a hint."
"Whatever, I'm pretty sure most people aren't thousand year old immortal vampires. Get home, now," Keira said, exasperated. "Something happened to Hayley."
"I'm already on my way, Agnes pricked Sophie Deveraux with a dark object that heats up her blood in attempt for Hayley to miscarriage," Elijah said.
