"He'll be ok, right?" Hayley asked as they dragged Elijah inside the house.

"Yeah, hell be fine. Werewolf bites can't kill Original vampires."

"And, what exactly did Klaus mean about the whole rabid thing?"

"It's less like 'rabid', and more like 'mildly losing control and making bad decisions', if you know what I mean," Keira replied, biting her wrist. Elijah woke up, and Keira pulled her wrist away.

Hayley looked around at the files inside the shack, and Elijah got up to help.

"You don't have to help. I can dig through the werewolf antique show on my own," Hayley said. Besides, shouldn't you put some kind of ointment or something on that?"

"The bite won't kill me. Like Niklaus himself, it's more than a nuisance than anything," Elijah said. Keira snickered, before checking her messages.

"Hey, Elijah, you think you can refrain from doing anything too violent?" Keira asked. "Rebekah's back, which is confusing considering I didn't even know she left in the first place."

"Go ahead," Elijah said. Keira nodded and left. As she reached the door frame, she turned to Hayley.

"Oh, if he tells you to leave or run, you probably should," she said, speeding away.

When she got home, she found Rebekah and they both went upstairs to find Nik.

"Rebekah," he said. "I thought you were leaving us."

"We both know this family can barely function without me. Where are Elijah and Hayley?" Bex asked.

"Where Keira is supposed to be, right now. Stranded in the Bayou."

"Nik, you do realize I am not a pregnant werewolf or weakened vampire, right? I left," Keira replied.

"Why did you leave them in the bayou?" Rebekah asked, scrunching her brows,

"Elijah and I had a bit of a row," Nik laughed bitterly. "Hayley's conspired to turn him against me. You know our brother was never one to resist a pretty face! So, one thing led to another, and I bit him, left them both stranded in the swamp. I left Keira there too, but it appears she's not as defenseless as usual."

"Oh, get over yourself," Keira said.

"Daggering, biting, deserting. Does your wickedness ever end?" Rebekah asked angrily.

"As it turns out, my child's blood can sire hybrids, and as a result, my youngest sister and elder brother abandoned me!" Nik said.

"For the record, I was debating whether or not you had good intentions, before you decided to bite Elijah," Keira said.

"And I wouldn't have to go to such lengths were I not presented on all sides with ignorance and treachery!" Nik turned to Rebekah. "Now that Elijah's abandoned me, I'll be needing you in my plot against Marcel."

Rebekah glared at Nik with resentment. "Why should I help you, after what you did to Elijah?"

"You're my family," Nik said.

"Yeah, so is Elijah. And me, by the way, if you forgot I'm here," Keira said.

"Whatever. Besides, who better to spy on Marcel than the girl he so clearly loves?"

"Can't deny that," Keira muttered.

"You can tell me all his secrets. Like, how did he find us here? Huh, any idea about that, little sister number one?"

Keira looked at Rebekah. "You slept with him, right?"

Rebekah eyed her. "How did you know that?"

"Bex, you sleep with everyone you make eye contact with."
