A/N: I see no purpose in her to have a major role in this episode, so she goes snap and bye bye! Or, rather, her neck goes snap and bye bye!

"We had a deal! You protect my unborn child, I dismantle Marcel's army. And whilst I've been busy fulfilling my part of the bargain, you allowed Hayley to be attacked and almost killed by a gaggle of lunatic witches!" Nik said angrily. He had taken Sophie Deveraux and thrown Sofie Deveraux onto the Mikaelson Mansion couch, his sisters waiting.

"I had nothing to do with it, I swear. Hayley and I are linked, remember? She dies, I die," Sophie said frantically.

"Then who were they?" Rebekah said, exasperated.

"They are a faction of extremists. Sabine stupidly told them about some vision she had about the baby," Sophie said.

"What kind of visions?" Nik asked suspiciously.

"She has them all the time. They are totally open to interpretation. I'm guessing she's wrong on this one," Sophie replied.

"Well, how, may I ask, was this particular vision interpreted?" Nik asked.

"Pretty much that your baby would bring death to all witches."

"I grow fonder of this child by the second," all three Mikaelson's said in unison, standing side by side.

"Sophie, look," Keira said. "I promised Elijah that I would protect the Mikaelson miracle-baby whilst he tries to win your witch Davina's loyalty. Why don't you tell me just how extreme this faction is"

"Elijah's talking to Davina?!?" Sophie asked, sitting up straighter.

"Yeah. As we speak, I imagine."

"I'm guessing she'll have plenty to say about that crowd," Sophie said. Nik looked intrigued.

"Do tell," he said.

"I... wasn't always an advocate for the witches," Sophie said. "At least, until I learned what was happening with the Harvest."

"What the bloody hell is a Harvest?" Rebekah asked.

"A ritual the New Orleans witches do every three centuries to restrengthen the bond between the witches and the ancestors. They need to do it to keep their powers so their bond to the ancestors is restored. Keep those old freaks appeased, keep their magic," Keira said.

"How do you know that?" Sophie asked.

"Yeah, I might have snuck into the last one  when we first came to New Orleans in the 1700s, three hundred years ago. I actually like witches, in case you didn't know. I was one once," Keira replied.

"And why haven't I heard of this?" Nik asked.

"Because a Harvest always seemed like a myth. A story, passed on through generations like Noah's ark, or the Buddha walking on water. The kind some people take literally, and some people don't," Sophie replied. "They had the girls of our community preparing for months. Four would be chosen for the Harvest. They said that it was an honor, that they were special. I thought it was a myth."

"Was it?" Rebekah asked. Sophie looked mildly guilty for a moment, before Nik's phone rang.

"Marcel. Bit early in the day for you, isn't it?" he said as he answered.

"I know, I make this look easy, but I still have an empire to run," Marcel said. Nik smiled fakely.

"Rather you than me. All that responsibility seems like such a bore," he replied.

"Well, this might spice things up-- I just heard about a bunch of dead witches out in the Bayou. The kinda damage a werewolf might do, only there was no full moon. I have an informant out there I need to meet, and I would love for you to go with me."

"Dead witches in the Bayou. Sounds like less of a problem, and more like a cause for celebration."

"Well, something killed them. And may still be out there. And with your blood the only cure for a werewolf bite, I would love for you to accompany me."

"Oh, why not? Haven't been to the Bayou in ages. I'm on my way."

"Peace out, brother," Marcel hung up.

"You can't go out there now. I need to gather the witches' remains and consecrate them. If I don't get to them before sundown, we'll lose the link to their magic," Sophie said.

"Those witches tried to kill Hayley. I'd prefer for Marcel's informant not to find anything that would lead him back to us, to her, or to... you know..." Nik pointed at Hayley's stomach. "That."

Hayley rolled her eyes. "You are all class."

Nik pointed at Sophie next. "Stay put. And save the rest of your story 'til I return."

The three girls sat in awkward silence for almost five minutes when Hayley entered.

"Where are you going," Rebekah asked.

"Those werewolves could be my family," Hayley said. "You coming? You can get your dead witch friends."

"I- Ok?" Sophie said.

"Wait wait wait, Nik said to stay here," Keira said.

"You really think I'm gonna listen to Klaus?" Hayley said.

"I promised Elijah you'd be safe, and you also have my niece in your stomach, and I like you and don't want you to die!" Keira said.

"Klaus will find you," Rebekah said.

"Then distract him," Sophie replied. "Also, don't let your sister follow us."

Before she could react, the bones in Keira's neck when snap and she fell over unconscious.

~~~~
She woke up probably a few hours later, since she hadn't fed all day, and found Hayley and Rebekah drinking in the kitchen.
"Rebekah!" she complained. "You snapped my neck?"
"I was bored, plus you're not breaking your word if you couldn't have done anything about it," Rebekah replied as Nik walked in. "Nik, finally! What–"
Elijah walked in before Nik. Keira sat up straighter, before running to him and hugging him.
"Elijah!" she said happily. "You're back! And, now that your safe, please tell me your first plan is to kill Niklaus."
Nik glared at her as Rebekah rushed over and hugged him as well. When they pulled away, Elijah noticed Hayley had gone.
"Excuse me just a moment," he said, walking away to where Hayley had left to.
"Where's he going?" Rebekah asked.
"Well," Keira said, smiling. "Judging by everything I've learnt about him these past thousand years, it appears out big brother has a crush."
"I can hear you!" Elijah said from out the door. His three younger siblings could literally hear Hayley's confusion at this random statement.
When he came back, they sat in the kitchen as Elijah recounted everything Davina had told him. And he had a lot to say.
"Everything that brought us here to New Orleans was a lie. This story that Sophie Deveraux fabricated, this struggle for control of the French Quarter, this war between vampires and witches, wasn't over territory at all, this was over Davina. Eight months ago, Sophie Deveraux and her sister Jane-Anne lost everything. Now, four months after that, a young pregnant girl wanders into their restaurant. Suddenly, all hope is renewed. Jane-Anne actually sacrificed her life so that her sister can use you to find Davina. If Sophie Deveraux is successful in capturing Davina, she can return Jane-Anne's daughter back to life. We thought we'd come here to wage a war for power. This is about family. In order to return her niece to life, Sophie Deveraux will fight to the death. That makes her more dangerous than anyone."
